Flames suddenly expanded within the swarm of Scale Moths, shooting skyward.
Yabao reverted to his original size and carried Qiao Sang into the sky.
Countless embers rained down. Upon closer inspection, they were actually charred remains of the Scale Moths.
A seemingly endless number of Scale Moths lifted their heads, glaring furiously at the culprit above them.
They displayed expressions of anger and surged upward from all directions, surrounding their target.
Qiao Sang looked down at the approaching swarm of bug-type pet beasts, and her scalp instantly tingled.

Qiao Sang was utterly baffled, but she had no time to dwell on it. She quickly took out her phone, opening the navigation app to search for a suitable location.
Soon, she found an area that wasn’t residential.
“Yabao, turn left!” Qiao Sang confirmed the direction.
Yabao obediently changed course.
Both Yabao and Little Treasure could teleport. Little Treasure, in particular, could move through space freely, making it easy to escape from a swarm of mid-tier pet beasts.

By carefully controlling his speed, Yabao arrived at a desolate wilderness.
Qiao Sang looked down and saw a large water pond, with no other creatures in sight.
This will do… She withdrew her gaze and turned toward the relentless swarm of Scale Moths.
Meanwhile, below, a pet beast that closely resembled a rock was rolling forward, arriving late to the scene.
It lifted its eyes, which emitted a faint green glow, and glanced at the aerial battle.
Finally, it could stop running. It was exhausted…
Elsewhere, Qu Zhuo stared at the computer screen, his expression changing drastically as a water pond flashed across the image.
It’s over. This time, it’s really over!
If he remembered correctly, that pond was the habitat of a King-tier pet beast, Source Water Croc!

Still immersed in despair over his Beast master’s terminalillness, Little Treasure suddenly sensed danger.
He quickly sniffled, withdrew Shadow Bind, and, without even wiping his tears, started gathering energy.
A translucent barrier rapidly formed in front of him.
Looking at the small shield that barely covered his own body, Little Treasure fell into deep thought.
Just then, Qiao Sang’s voice rang in its ears:
“Little Treasure, control Lubao!”
An orange star array lit up in the sky.
The next second, Lubao appeared within the array.
She didn’t fall but instead hovered mid-air, just like Yabao.
Meanwhile, Little Treasure's eyes had turned blue.
“Icy Wind!” Qiao Sang commanded.
Lubao took in the scene before her and, without hesitation, opened her mouth. The temperature plummeted.
A terrifying chill froze most of the approaching scale dust in an instant.
But the Scale Moths were simply too many.
Even as Lubao unleashed its Icy Wind, some had already reached overhead.
At that moment, the fiery rain began to fall.
