The next day, Sally walked on the fine, soft sands of the beach, watching Little Miqi and Little Fengning playing and surfing in the sea, her gaze slowly shifting towards the setting sun.
A tall figure approached her, wearing a crisp, elegant suit, as if he had come straight from a banquet.
Sally stopped walking and waited for him to come closer.
Chen Yan looked towards the two children playing in the sea; Little Miqi now had golden hair, blaze like gold under the oblique sun.
Sally handed him her phone, “It’s for you, the password is 1090.”
“For me?” Chen Yan didn’t take it.
“Yes. Although our meeting was fleeting, I’m glad to have known you.” Sally tossed the phone to him.
“…Thank you, I feel the same,” said Chen Yan, suddenly at a loss for words.
He knew nothing about her, yet her medicine had saved his life. And without making any demands, she had casually given him a prescription that could bring huge profits.
He had looked into her background; she seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, leaving no trace behind.
“Who exactly are you?” he asked.
“Hmm… A partner, a mother,” Sally said.
Sally called the two children back to the System Space, her face revealing a radiant, splendid smile that was both charming and tender.
