"Honey, are you serious? Am I really that popular?"
Having heard Lin Ruoxue's words, a smug and somewhat sly smile instantly appeared on Su Chen's face!
"Feeling proud to be liked by so many women, huh?"
Lin Ruoxue glanced at him, her eyes sparkling with a sharp gleam!
Sensing that sharp gleam, Su Chen immediately felt a tremor in his heart, quickly reining in his smugness before responding,
"Wife, having you is enough for me. How could I possibly fancy those vulgar women?"
At this moment, of course, the most important thing was to appease his wife. As for the other women... well, he'd just have to apologize to them!
Upon hearing his words, Lin Ruoxue merely pursed her lips, still feeling somewhat suspicious about Yunyao's behavior in the hospital, though she said no more.

The next morning, the two followed their usual routine, having breakfast and then heading to the company together. Since Lin Ruoxue's car was still at Rainbow Mansion, they naturally took Su Chen's car.
Back at the company, Su Chen went to his office as usual and brewed a cup of tea for himself.
Just as the tea was ready, his phone rang. Seeing that it was Shen Lin's number, a playful smile curled the corners of his mouth!
He certainly knew the purpose of Shen Lin's call – she undoubtedly wanted to inquire about the incident at the Su Family residence yesterday morning.
It seemed yesterday's event had been quite a shock to them, so much so that Shen Lin couldn't sit still and had to call first thing in the morning!

Shen Lin also laughed hehe.
He also guessed that Su Chen was most likely pretending. If he really was such a man in a hurry, it would have been easier to deal with; he wouldn't mind sacrificing Qi Meng, especially after what happened yesterday.
