Xiao Yifeng got the blue stone disk and returned to Haitang Garden, but his brows furrowed slightly when he entered the villa.
There were no lights on in the entire villa, which was a bit unusual, since it was so late the two women couldn’t possibly be out. The blue glint in Xiao Yifeng’s eyes flashed and vanished as a chilling expression appeared on the corner of his mouth.
He entered the villa without turning on the lights and walked further inside.
At that moment, the sound of a forceful gust of wind rang out, and a cold gleam materialized out of nowhere, slicing directly toward his neck.
Xiao Yifeng’s gaze sharpened, and he abruptly leaned backward. Right then, another cold gleam shot out from behind him, aiming for his back.
As if he had already sensed the attack from behind, Xiao Yifeng turned over and rolled as he simultaneously launched a fierce punch.
With a bang, the person attacking him from behind was forced to retreat step by step.
Immediately after, Xiao Yifeng twisted his body again and caught the first cold gleam with one hand—it was a chillingly bright dagger, now held in his grip.
With a squeeze, the solid dagger was crushed in his hand, yet his palm was left unscathed.
This person was similarly kicked back by Xiao Yifeng, who then turned on the lights in the villa.
The light illuminated the surroundings, revealing two individuals clad in black, wearing silver skeleton masks, standing on either side of Xiao Yifeng.
"Blood Soul again! It seems Blood Soul has really set its sights on me."
Xiao Yifeng gave the two a cold look as he spoke disdainfully.
Two afterimages appeared. The two men swung their daggers at Xiao Yifeng with incredible speed, their movements perfectly in sync and ruthlessly aimed to kill.
But facing their assault, Xiao Yifeng merely smirked coldly, his hands moving like lightning to grab the men’s arms and violently twist.
Cracking sounds ensued as both men’s arms were twisted into a twisted shape, their eyes behind the masks revealing a look of agony.
However, these two were quite formidable as they swung their other arms, wielding daggers to stab at Xiao Yifeng once more, only to be caught again by him.
An explosive force burst forth, rendering the other arms of the two men useless as well.
In the blink of an eye, the two Silver Level assassins from the Blood Soul Organization had their arms crippled by Xiao Yifeng, filling their eyes with fear.
"Today I’m in a good mood, so I’ll let you go. Go back and tell your people from Blood Soul not to provoke me, otherwise, I’ll show you my true strength. Don’t think that being the number one Assassin Organization makes you formidable."
Xiao Yifeng swept a cold glare over the two, a terrifying killing intent enveloping them, making their faces pale beneath their masks, their expressions filled with fear.
This killing intent was even more terrifying than what they, as assassins, would normally produce. Not daring to linger, the two quickly left the villa.
Xiao Yifeng then went upstairs into Ye Yaxin’s room. Inside, Ye Yaxin and Ye Yashi were tied together, with cloth stuffed into their mouths which caused Xiao Yifeng to almost laugh.
Seeing Xiao Yifeng appear, both women made muffled noises, and he went over to untie them.
Ye Yaxin looked at Xiao Yifeng and asked coldly, "What about those two men?"
"You mean those two assassins? I’ve chased them off."
"They were assassins? And they were after you?" Ye Yaxin’s expression changed, her eyes flashing with surprise.
"Yeah, but you don’t need to worry. It’s nothing," Xiao Yifeng replied indifferently.
"Brother-in-law, who have you offended that they would send assassins after you?" Ye Yashi asked incredulously.
Xiao Yifeng stroked his hair and sighed, "For someone as handsome as me, it’s normal to be targeted."
Immediately, both Ye Yaxin and Ye Yashi rolled their eyes at Xiao Yifeng and chased him out.
Xiao Yifeng chuckled, took the blue stone disk back to his room, and began to study it.
The whole disk was made of an unknown material, very hard, with all sorts of ancient and mysterious patterns engraved on it, but Xiao Yifeng could make nothing of them.
Even his penetrating vision couldn’t discern anything useful. The blue stone disk seemed no simple thing; otherwise, so many would not be vying for it. However, its actual purpose was yet unclear to him.
While Xiao Yifeng was examining the blue stone disk, Dong Xiaotian welcomed Long Yun into his villa.
"Long Yun, I really have to thank you this time. If it weren’t for you, Li’er might not have come back safely. I will definitely provide a sum for the treatment of your injured brother," Dong Xiaotian said to Long Yun.

When did such a mysterious strong one appear in Tianhai, clearly here for the blue stone disk," Dong Xiaotian mused, his eyes twinkling with keen interest.
