"Is this the first time you’re smiling at me? That’s really rare!"
Xiao Yifeng curled his lips.
"Alright, let’s eat!"
A blush spread across Mo Shumei’s face as she spoke.
The two of them sat at the table, and soon one exquisite dish after another was brought out.

Mo Shumei poured a glass of red wine for both of them and raised her glass.

Xiao Yifeng smiled and lifted his glass, downing it in one gulp.

Mo Shumei said and likewise emptied her wine glass in one go.
"By the way, what happened to your sister you mentioned yesterday? I didn’t see her at the Mo Family’s place last night either!"
Xiao Yifeng couldn’t help but ask.
"My sister went somewhere else because she had things to do."
Mo Shumei’s gaze flickered.
Xiao Yifeng’s eyes conveyed a hint of suspicion.
Mo Shumei replied and took another sip of wine.
As time passed, they chatted and ate, and several bottles of red wine ended up empty without them realizing it.
Both of their faces were flushed, especially Mo Shumei’s, which seemed a little woozy.

Mo Shumei, holding her glass, sat down in front of Xiao Yifeng and said.

"Did I? I was actually drunk, and it seems like it should be you who took a big advantage of me."
Mo Shumei spoke softly.
"If I had known, I wouldn’t have bothered to help you get rid of the drug’s effects last night. It would have been simpler."
Xiao Yifeng curled his lips.
"All I wanted was to repay you. And you are the only man I’ve met who just might be qualified enough to be my man."
"So you set up this beauty trap for me?"
Xiao Yifeng looked down at Mo Shumei, his lips curving into a smile.
"It’s your own lack of self-control!"
Mo Shumei retorted with a smile.
Xiao Yifeng replied with a laugh, stood up, and walked towards the bathroom to take a shower.
At that moment, a ringtone of a cellphone sounded.
Mo Shumei glanced over, the ringtone coming from within Xiao Yifeng’s clothes.
Then Mo Shumei got up, took Xiao Yifeng’s clothes, pulled out the phone, and saw a contact labeled clearly as ’Wife’.
Upon seeing this name, Mo Shumei’s eyes flickered, and she answered the call.
"Hey, where are you? Why haven’t you come back yet?"
Ye Yaxin’s voice came from the phone.
Hearing that voice, Mo Shumei’s eyes narrowed slightly, a smile playing on her lips.
"Are you looking for Little Feng? He’s taking a bath," Mo Shumei spoke gently.
Ye Yaxin’s tone changed abruptly upon hearing a woman’s voice from Xiao Yi’s phone.
"I’m his woman. Do you have something to say? You can tell me, and I’ll pass the message to him later!"
Mo Shumei’s voice was soft and gentle.
The sound of a phone being hung up came from the other end as Ye Yaxin immediately hung up.
Mo Shumei smiled, her eyes twinkling as she placed Xiao Yifeng’s phone back into his clothes.
Elsewhere in the villa,
Ye Yaxin hung up the phone, her face looking extremely unsightly, as cold as frost, emanating a chilly air all around her.
"Sis, when is brother-in-law coming back? Your expression doesn’t look right,"
Ye Yashi came over at that moment, noticing the cold expression on Ye Yaxin’s face and slightly furrowed her brow.
"No need to wait for him to come back; just let him stay out forever!"
Ye Yaxin said coldly, her tone was so icy it even made Ye Yashi shiver.
"What did brother-in-law do to make sister so angry?"
