Xiao Yifeng drove straight back to Haitang Garden. As he entered the villa, he saw Ye Yaxin sitting quietly on the sofa.
"You haven’t gone to bed yet?" Xiao Yifeng said as his gaze fell on Ye Yaxin.
Ye Yaxin stood up and slowly walked towards Xiao Yifeng. Seeing her approaching, Xiao Yifeng looked startled.
"What are you doing? That’s a bit too fast for me, I..." Xiao Yifeng said before suddenly closing his eyes, readying himself as if to be graced with her presence.
"Were you with Mo Shumei just now?"
However, what Ye Yaxin said snapped Xiao Yifeng out of his fantasy, his expression changing slightly as he looked at Mo Shumei in astonishment.
"I saw you leave with Mo Shumei’s car, and you have the scent of a woman’s perfume on you," Ye Yaxin said, turning away to walk to the side.
"We just had a meal together, don’t get the wrong idea," Xiao Yifeng quickly explained.
"That’s between you two, and I don’t want to interfere. However, let me remind you, both sisters of the Mo Family are no simple characters. You are my fiancé now, you’d better be careful and ensure you do not harm the interests of the Ye Family and Ye Corporation," Ye Yaxin said coldly before heading upstairs.
Xiao Yifeng narrowed his eyes, a peculiar light flickering within them.
"Brother-in-law, you’ve been with that woman Mo Shumei again. I’ve told you before not to be fooled by her pretty face; she’s just a poisonous beauty snare. Now you’ve upset my sister, haven’t you?" Ye Yashi appeared in front of Xiao Yifeng, pouting as she spoke.
"Alright, little girl, this has nothing to do with you. Go to bed," Xiao Yifeng said, giving Ye Yashi a stern glance.
Ye Yashi could only stick out her tongue and leave.
Xiao Yifeng chuckled and went back to his room.
Sitting on the bed, Xiao Yifeng took off a jade pendant from around his neck. His gaze fixated on the pendant, which bore the character for ’Xiao’ designed as if a dragon and phoenix were dancing. His expression changed and a look of indescribable emotion flashed through his eyes as his fist clenched tightly.
"Dad, where on earth are you..." Xiao Yifeng muttered to himself, his expression growing complex.
The next day, Xiao Yifeng got up early, tidied up, and started preparing breakfast.
Ye Yashi came straight to Xiao Yifeng.
"What’s up with you, girl?"
Xiao Yifeng asked indifferently.
"Brother-in-law, our school is about to hold a school celebration gala, why don’t you come too?" Ye Yashi said directly.
"Why would I go to your school’s gala? I’m not a student there," Xiao Yifeng said.

"Get out!" Qiu Yuying’s pretty face darkened as she snapped at him.
