At Xiao Han’s command, both Wu Fei and the youth were so shaken by his terrifying aura that their blood churned, and they each spat out a mouthful of fresh blood.
Then the Dragon Thorn Members headed upstairs, and though Wu Fei wore a reluctant look in his eyes, he dared not say anything further.
Soon, Ye Yashi was helped downstairs by the Dragon Thorn Members, her forehead still bleeding profusely, half her cheek dyed red, her breath extremely weak—she seemed on the verge of fainting.
Xiao Han glanced at Ye Yashi and noted that, though her forehead was injured and her clothes ripped, there was no sign of violation, which allowed him to feel a measure of relief.
As long as Ye Yashi had not been harmed, that was all that mattered; had Wu Fei assaulted her, Xiao Han could hardly imagine what Xiao Yifeng would have done—likely turning the Wu Family upside down.
"Wu Fei, you’d better pray for good fortune now!"
Xiao Han said to Wu Fei, then waved his hand and left with Ye Yashi.
Once Xiao Han had departed, Wu Fei gasped for air, his face pale, forehead beaded with cold sweat, looking utterly dreadful.
"Damnit, the sheep that was within grasp has just flown away!"
Wu Fei clenched his fists tightly and roared with anger, his eyes full of resentment.
"Young Master, this lady drew out Young Master Qian and Xiao Han personally for rescue. Her identity must be extraordinary. Shouldn’t we be more cautious?"
The youth in black spoke up to Wu Fei.
"Cautious my ass! What’s there to be scared of? Even if the girl’s identity is special, so what? Xiao Han did not dare to touch me. In Yanjing, who would dare lay a finger on Wu Fei? I reckon they don’t want to live!"
Wu Fei declared disdainfully.
"It’s just a pity for the girl, such a waste!"
Wu Fei shook his head and sighed.
As time passed, five hours later, a plane from Tianhai landed directly in Yanjing Airport.
It was nearing dawn when a black-clad Xiao Yifeng emerged from the airport with a cold expression, followed by Tian Tu and Jian Yun.
Just as he stepped out of the airport, Xiao Yifeng’s phone rang—it was Xiao Han calling.
"Hello, Third Uncle!"
Xiao Yifeng answered his phone, and his eyes narrowed at once.
"Alright, I’ll be right there!"
After hanging up, Xiao Yifeng hurried to Yanjing Hospital with Tian Tu and Jian Yun.
Upon arrival at Yanjing Hospital, Xiao Yifeng scanned with his eyes and took to the fifth floor.
In no time at all, Xiao Yifeng reached a ward door. Just as he was about to enter, a nurse in a pink uniform, pretty and sweet-looking, carrying things, stepped out.
The beautiful nurse asked, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes at the sight of the three men.
"Oh, we’re relatives of the patient inside. We’ve come to visit her."
Xiao Yifeng replied indifferently.
"Oh, but the patient just rested, and it isn’t good to be too noisy. You should be quiet."
The beautiful nurse said before she left.
Xiao Yifeng walked straight in.
In the ward, Xiao Han stood with his hands clasped behind his back before the sickbed, where Ye Yashi lay, her forehead wrapped with gauze, her complexion pale, already asleep.
"Little Feeng, you’ve arrived!"
Xiao Han glanced at Xiao Yifeng and then at Tian Tu and Jian Yun following him; his gaze sharpened slightly, hinting at astonishment.
"Third Uncle, thank you!"
Xiao Yifeng thanked Xiao Han with gratitude.
"You and I need not exchange courtesies, but I was a bit late getting there, and Miss Ye suffered some external injuries, however, her body did not sustain any violation."
Xiao Han began to speak.
Xiao Yifeng walked straight to Ye Yashi’s side and looked at the wound on her forehead, as well as her pale face.
A touch of heartache flashed in Xiao Yifeng’s eyes as he reached out and tenderly stroked Ye Yashi’s face, his gaze filled with deep compassion.
At that moment, Ye Yashi’s eyelashes fluttered, and her eyes slowly opened to see Xiao Yifeng right away.
Ye Yashi exclaimed suddenly, stretching out her hand to tightly grasp Xiao Yifeng’s palm, like a drowning child clinging to a lifesaving straw.
"I’m sorry, Yashi, I arrived late!"
Xiao Yifeng gently stroked Ye Yashi’s hair and whispered.
"No, I knew you would be by my side, brother-in-law. As long as you’re here, I feel at ease."
Ye Yashi responded, a smile appearing on her face.
"Don’t worry, I won’t let you get hurt again."
Xiao Yifeng spoke solemnly, reaching out to touch the wound on her forehead, and asked, "Does it hurt?"
Ye Yashi shook her head.
Xiao Yifeng directly channeled a stream of Starforce into her forehead to help the wound heal quickly.
"Rest assured, I will make those who hurt you pay the price they deserve!"
Xiao Yifeng’s face was ice-cold, a chilling light flared in his eyes.
"Little Feeng, that Young Master Qian was also injured trying to save Miss Ye, and he’s in the next ward."
Xiao Han told Xiao Yifeng.
Xiao Yifeng nodded and said to Ye Yashi, "Yashi, you rest well."
Then, Xiao Yifeng went to the ward next door, where Qian Duoduo lay on the bed with a bruised face, an IV drip hanging by his side, his complexion pale, sleeping deeply.
Seeing Qian Duoduo’s injuries, Xiao Yifeng’s expression turned even uglier.
"I didn’t expect you to have such a deep connection with this Young Master Qian. He got severely beaten trying to rescue Miss Ye and was ordered by Wu Fei. Luckily, I arrived in time, or Qian Duoduo would probably be in serious trouble."
Xiao Han stood beside Xiao Yifeng and spoke.
Xiao Yifeng’s eyes glittered with a cold sharpness, and an icy aura swirled around him.
He then took out an elixir and placed it in Qian Duoduo’s mouth for him to swallow.
As the elixir took effect, Qian Duoduo’s internal injuries quickly began to heal.

Qian Duoduo spoke with a hint of guilt.
"Don’t think too much about it, you can be assured that you are my man, and I won’t let you suffer in vain, I’ll make the one who hit you suffer a hundred times the pain you did."
Xiao Yifeng enunciated each word with an icy, cutting tone, making the chilling intent palpable.
"Boss, that Wu Fei, he is..."

Xiao Yifeng said coldly, then turned and left the room.
