"I’m okay, your girlfriend’s soul is now fine. You should go in and say a few things to stimulate her nerves; she should be able to wake up from her deep coma," Xiao Yifeng said to Jing Shangcheng.
"Thank you!" Jing Shangcheng uttered, and then entered the room.
"Please, have a seat," Yan Haotian said as he assisted Xiao Yifeng to sit on the sofa.
"Thank you, senior!" Xiao Yifeng expressed his gratitude, looking at Yan Haotian.
"No need to keep calling me senior; just call me Dragon Head, or if you don’t mind, you can also call me Uncle Yan!" Yan Haotian said to Xiao Yifeng.
"I’ll stick to calling you Dragon Head," Xiao Yifeng replied softly, expressing, "Dragon Head, we had never met before, yet you have intervened on my behalf multiple times. Do you perhaps know my master?"
"You are quite astute to guess so quickly," Yan Haotian replied with a faint smile.
"So you really do know my master!" Xiao Yifeng’s eyes flashed with a hint of surprise.
"Indeed I do. We’ve known each other for over twenty years, since the time I wasn’t the Dragon Head, just an ordinary member of Dragon Soul," Yan Haotian reminisced.
"To have known each other for so long—did my master seek you out? How else would you know who my master is?" Xiao Yifeng inquired.
"Indeed, after you killed Yanluo, your master appeared, and that is why I forbade Dragon Soul from seeking revenge on you," Yan Haotian nodded in acknowledgment.
"How did you get to know my master, and what was he like before?" Xiao Yifeng asked curiously.
"You will find out all of this in time!" Yan Haotian did not elaborate further.
"She’s awake, Ruoli, you’re finally awake!" At that moment, an overwhelmingly excited voice came from the room—it was clear that his girlfriend, Xia Ruoli, had woken up.
"Your medical skills are truly extraordinary; you are indeed a worthy disciple of your master!" Yan Haotian looked at Xiao Yifeng with an appreciative gaze.
"Thank you for your praise!" Xiao Yifeng smiled gently.
Soon after, Jing Shangcheng was seen assisting Xia Ruoli out of the room. She looked much better, though she was somewhat weakened by the extended slumber.
"Ruoli, this is the person who saved you, his name is Xiao Yifeng!" Jing Shangcheng introduced Xiao Yifeng to Xia Ruoli.
"Mr. Xiao, thank you for saving my life!" Xia Ruoli looked at Xiao Yifeng with gratitude.
"It’s no big deal. I suppose I’ve traded your life for mine!" Xiao Yifeng glanced at Jing Shangcheng and said with a smile.
Jing Shangcheng abruptly bowed deeply to Xiao Yifeng, "Mr. Xiao, I was reckless to make a move against you before. I was wrong, Jing Shangcheng admits his fault and hopes for your forgiveness. In saving your girlfriend, I didn’t expect any repayment: one, because I don’t want you to become a tool for someone else’s murder; two, out of respect for Dragon Head; and three, because I do hope to see a loving couple unite in the end," Xiao Yifeng said calmly.
"Regardless, you are still a great benefactor to both of us, and we will always remember your kindness," Jing Shangcheng said with a resolute look in his eyes.
The entire Wu Family displayed white cloths and white lanterns, with a mourning hall erected in the center. Wu Fei lay in a golden nanmu coffin, and all members of the Wu Family were dressed in black.
In the mourning hall, Wu Fei’s mother knelt on the ground, sobbing incessantly, while Wu Kun and his son Wu Tianwen stood to one side. As for Wu Yaohua and Wu Tianwu, one was healing while the other was recuperating.
"Father, are we truly helpless against that youngster? Even Dragon Soul can’t deal with him. I just didn’t expect he would have this move up his sleeve, to actually revive the woman from Jing Shangcheng. I have underestimated him."
In Wu Tianwen’s eyes flickered a profound light.
"If this person is not removed, it’s not only a disgrace to our Wu Family but also the ultimate peril. It’s possible that our Wu Family could be ultimately defeated by him," Wu Kun said indifferently.
"Then Father, shall we ask for help from the second uncle or the eldest uncle, and have them make a move?" Wu Tianwen couldn’t help but propose.
"No, those two are the final pillars of our Wu Family. Unless it is the time of our family’s destruction, they will not take action. We must not disturb them lightly, affecting their cultivation," Wu Kun directly rejected Wu Tianwen’s suggestion.

"What do you mean, Lady of the Xiao Family? Are you mocking the Wu Family for being incompetent?" Wu Tianwen glared at Situ Yan, exuding an air of authority as he sharply retorted.
"Of course not, I only mean to say that we have a common enemy. I also wish to kill that outcast and relieve my hatred," Situ Yan replied, a fierce light flashing in her eyes.
"Situ girl, just speak your mind directly, don’t beat around the bush!" Wu Kun looked at Situ Yan and spoke plainly.
"I want to form an alliance with the Wu Family, to join hands in eliminating this common foe," Situ Yan said to the two men.
"An alliance? How so?" Wu Tianwen’s eyes revealed a hint of skepticism.
"Although that outcast is strong and has many strong ones under him, he has one major weakness. If we grasp this weakness, we can kill him with one strike," Situ Yan explained.
"What weakness?" Wu Kun and his son both looked at Situ Yan intently.
"He values sentiment and righteousness. He cares deeply for the people around him. If we capture one of those people, he will be at our mercy," said Situ Yan, her voice solemn.
"Capture who, his woman? She’s in Tianhai," Wu Tianwen said.
Situ Yan uttered three words, causing a look of surprise to flash in the eyes of Wu Kun and Wu Tianwen.
"That’s right, this Qian Duoduo has acknowledged Xiao Yifeng as Boss. They have a very good relationship. If we capture him, we will have leverage against that guy.
