“Hah.” Su Luo sneered. “I’ve never seen you so enthusiastic about celebrating Jiaojiao’s birthday before, but you’re taking the initiative this year. Do you have a guilty conscience, or are you up to no good?”
“Su Luo,” Lu Zhuo said, “it’s Jiaojiao’s birthday today. I don’t want to quarrel with you.”
“I don’t want to quarrel with you either, but I booked this private room. You’re not welcome here. Please leave.” Su Luo pointed at the door. Lu Zhuo stood still, his gaze fixed on Xu Jiaojiao, who was blocked from his sight.
“If you still refuse to leave, I’ll call security.” Su Luo did not have much patience.
Xu Jiaojiao tugged at the corner of her shirt. “Luoluo…”
Su Luo lowered her head to look at her and coaxed her in a child-like tone. “Don’t worry, I’m here. I won’t let him bully you.”
Xu Jiaojiao smiled. “He can’t bully me. Let me talk to him.”
Su Luo could not stand to say no to Xu Jiaojiao. Although she was worried, she still moved aside and crossed her arms as she glared at Lu Zhuo. If he dared to do anything, she would blow his head off!
When Lu Zhuo saw that Xu Jiaojiao was willing to talk to him, a smile appeared on his face. “Jiaojiao, happy birthday.”
Xu Jiaojiao opened her mouth and said, “Thank you.”
However, she did not accept the gift he handed her. Seeing this, Lu Zhuo repeated, “Jiaojiao, this is a gift I specially chose for you.”
Xu Jiaojiao did not even look at him. “I’ll accept your blessings, but there’s no need for a gift.”
Lu Zhuo’s smile froze, but he maintained it and said softly, “Jiaojiao, are you still angry? I was wrong last time. I apologize. Don’t be angry, okay?”
If it was the old Xu Jiaojiao, she would have forgiven Lu Zhuo the moment he opened his mouth. However, the current Xu Jiaojiao did not want that. She was clearly very unhappy and displeased, so she did not want to endure it and say that it was fine. If she blindly gave in and tolerated him, she would only lose herself.
“Lu Zhuo, you don’t have to apologize to me anymore. I accepted your apology last time, and our engagement has been annulled. We don’t owe each other anything.” Xu Jiaojiao’s tone was indifferent. There was no resentment or reluctance, as if she was facing a stranger.

Xu Jiaojiao frowned. She felt that she could not communicate with Lu Zhuo. Most importantly, Lu Zhuo did not seem to understand what she saying! Or rather, he did not want to understand at all!

“Lu Zhuo!” Xu Jiaojiao’s voice finally wavered. “Please show some respect!��
“To whom?” Lu Zhuo’s eyes were filled with mockery. “That pretty boy? How much did you spend? Or did Su Luo find him for you? Look at all the nonsense she instilled in your brain…”
“Lu Zhuo, you f*cking…” Su Luo was about to stand up and curse Lu Zhuo out — when a black shadow suddenly rushed in from outside the private room and gave Lu Zhuo a vicious kick ! Lu Zhuo was caught off guard and fell to the ground pathetically. Before he could react, the person had already grabbed his collar and raised his arm to slap him.
Xu Jiaojiao and Su Luo were shocked by this sudden scene. Their eyes widened.
Lu Zhuo fell to the ground after being slapped. He turned around and met Xu Zhengyang’s angry eyes. In an instant, his anger surged. “Xu Zhengyang, are you crazy?!”
Xu Zhengyang sneered. “Lu Zhuo, how do you still have the nerve to appear in front of Jiaojiao?” Before he could finish his sentence, he landed another punch on Lu Zhuo’s face. “I f*cking told you not to let me see you again, or else I’ll beat you up!”
Lu Zhuo was also enraged. He turned around and started fighting with Xu Zhengyang. When Xu Zhengyang took a punch, Xu Jiaojiao came back to her senses and stepped forward worriedly. “Brother…”
“Stand there and don’t move.” Xu Zhengyang glanced at Xu Jiaojiao and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. He looked utterly unruly. “Today, I’ll kill this scumbag for you!”
“Brother…” Xu Jiaojiao wanted to step forward, but Su Luo held her back. “Don’t go over, or you might accidentally injure yourself.”
Xu Jiaojiao was at a loss as she stopped in her tracks. By now, Xu Zhengyang and Lu Zhuo were already locked in an all-out brawl.
