Although Zhan Jin Cheng didn’t receive Gu Mengmeng’s love letter and the love confession was never completed that day—Zhan Jin Cheng was still very handsome in Gu Mengmeng’s eyes. The fact that Zhan Jin Cheng was Gu Mengmeng’s type made Snakel feel very upset.
But now that he had a girlfriend, who was also Gu Mengmeng’s good buddy Bai Lan—nothing would ever happen between the two of them now.

Bai Lan turned back to look at Zhan Jin Cheng with a puzzled expression. The question “What’s the matter with you?” was stated clearly in her eyes.
Zhan Jin Cheng swallowed hard. “Bai Lan, I like you. Please be my girlfriend.”
“Huh?!” Bai Lan stared dumbfounded at Zhan Jin Cheng. She didn’t understand him at all. “Didn’t you say just now…”
Zhan Jin Cheng scratched the back of his head. “It is better for the guy to perform the confession. Since I like you, I cannot let you get the shorter end of the stick. Whatever others girls have, I will make sure you enjoy the privilege too. I cannot give you the entire world, but I can give you my all.”
Bai Lan blinked. “So you mean…”
“At the very least, I have to give you a formal love confession.” Zhan Jin Cheng smiled. “You already kissed me. Don’t try and shirk your responsibility.”
Bai Lan laughed as she wrapped her arms around Zhan Jin Cheng’s neck. “Alright, I will take responsibility.”
Since Zhan Jin Cheng and Bai Lan became an official couple today, everyone decided to follow the basketball team’s custom of going to the KTV again.

That night, Snakel sat on Gu Mengmeng’s left while Bai Lan sat on her right. Zhan Jin Cheng was on the other side of Bai Lan, and was extremely attentive to her every need. Bai Lan shot Gu Mengmeng a look. “Now you understand why I don’t like him?”
Bai Lan stole a quick glance at Snakel before continuing in a rather tipsy manner. “Men, you cannot choose one who is too powerful. You must choose someone whom you can control. See here, there are three prime examples…”
Gu Mengmeng chuckled and raised her brows. “Which three?”
Before today, Bai Lan had been single all the way. But now she wanted to pretend to be a love expert. Gu Mengmeng just had to hear what kind of bullshit she could spin out.
