Become A Character Who Dies Within Three Chapters Chapter 18

Chapter 18: "The Scene of Catching an Adulterer"

"Snap!"

Aboli felt warm liquid falling onto her hair. It must be Louis shedding tears, she told herself.

Typically, Aboli might have been deeply moved, but right now, , something else excited her even more!

Could it be that Louis harbored filthy thoughts about her? If so, then that was wonderful—too wonderful, ha ha ha.

If it were anyone else who had such filthy thoughts, she would only feel disgust and want to kill them instantly. They were unworthy of being a mother!

But Louis was different. She would grant Louis this privilege.

Louis was still drowning in self-blame: "Aboli, you only have this baby-bird attachment to me because I saved you. But me... like this... don’t you find me disgusting? Leave, before I do something terrible!"

As he spoke, Louis struggled as if to push Aboli away. She let go obediently, yet her hand still clung tightly to his.

She tilted her head to look at Louis, but he dared not meet her gaze. He turned his head aside, and she saw the tearstains on his face.

My God, Louis, I’m sorry for making you cry. After this, I will cherish you dearly. I’ll make sure you can never leave me.

Suddenly, Louis stiffened. He could feel the soft sensation against his palm. Aboli was only sixteen, and though her body was a little thin, everything that should be there was there.

Damn it!

Louis’s hand trembled uncontrollably. He dared not look back, afraid she would see his twisted expression.

This time, he was truly tainted. MC, please, act normal!, please, act normal!

Aboli felt his trembling hand, and she saw the redness spreading across his ears and face. She couldn’t help but laugh: "Don’t be shy, Louis. Isn’t this what you wanted?"

No, no, no!

"Aboli, you’re still too young..."

"If you want, I can come of age right now."

Aboli grasped Louis’s chin as she spoke, forcing him to face her. Seeing his flushed face and tear-brimmed eyes, she grew so excited she couldn’t control the strength in her hand.

God, how she wanted to draw out more expressions from him—more pain, more joy, until he cried, ha ha ha.

"R-really...?"

Louis looked at her anxiously, as though tasting forbidden fruit for the first time.

So adorable. My God, how innocent, how precious... Aboli wanted so badly to kiss him. But for now, she had to give Louis a little punishment.

Aboli suddenly let go of Louis, putting some distance between them.

Louis seemed stunned by her action, his eyes dazed as he looked at her, like a lost fawn.

Suppressing herself, Aboli said, "Then what about the other two? Those twin brothers. I never knew you already had lovers."

Lowering her gaze, Aboli thought honestly—if she had known this, she would have dealt with them before bringing Louis here. The thought that Louis’s heart didn’t entirely belong to her made her feel wretched.

Louis saw the growing gloom in Aboli’s eyes and confessed softly: "It’s true, I once loved them. But they’ve already forgotten me, Aboli. Perhaps we should separate—each of us should have a new life. After all, when we were together before, what they brought me was only control and pain..."

Looking at Louis’s reddened eyes, Aboli realized that even mentioning those twins made him struggle to keep control of his emotions. He still loved them, which made her even more unsettled.

But it didn’t matter. Now he had chosen her. She would deal with those two monkeys and then return Louis to Zone 1 to adjust his memories.

Which scenario should she choose for them? Should they grow up together, and then Louis fall in love with her and pursue her?

Aboli trembled with excitement; she felt she ought to accelerate the process of rewriting Louis’s memories.

"So right now, you’re choosing me, right?" Aboli asked softly.

Louis could sense something rippling beneath Aboli’s skin, as if something was about to break free from its cocoon—unnerving.

Did Aboli not realize how grotesque she looked right now? Or maybe she was trying to frighten him.

But whatever it was, Louis didn’t care. The thought of soon escaping this place lightened his mood a little.

Who knew how much Luna and Lucas had overheard by now? They must be furious, ha—well, that had nothing to do with him.

He gazed at Aboli with eyes full of tenderness and love, lingering as if he were looking at Luna and Lucas—gazing at her as though he couldn’t even see her rippling, restless skin.

Softly, he said: "That’s right. From the moment you stood at my doorstep, I knew... my heart no longer belonged to myself."

Romantic words always sounded nauseating. Louis smiled.

"Bang!"

At that instant, the door to the rooftop was suddenly kicked open. Before anyone could react, a streak of violet light shot forward!

"Clang!"

Luna’s mechanical hand, transformed into a sword, slashed straight at Aboli—only to be caught with one hand. Yet Luna’s eyes weren’t on Aboli; instead, she glared at Louis, tears streaming down her wide, round eyes, sliding across her cheeks, down to her chin, before dripping onto the floor.

Even though she didn’t utter a word, Louis could feel the agony in her gaze, as if her entire heart had been torn apart.

"Did you really betray me, Louis? Do you truly not love me anymore?" she whispered in a trembling voice.

Louis lowered his eyes, looking away. This time, he suddenly felt a genuine pang of guilt. Unlike with Aboli, with Luna and Lucas, he had been the one to deceive and exploit them.

Sensing the change in Louis’s emotions, Aboli’s expression instantly darkened.

"You whore, don’t you dare try to deceive Louis!"

Aboli growled, then tightened her grip—the sword in Luna’s hand instantly cracked!

Luna seemed momentarily surprised, but madness quickly consumed her: "Louis, I’ll kill this bitch first, and then carve your flesh apart. Don’t worry, I’ll preserve that beautiful face of yours! A doll never betrays!"

Louis: "..." The guilt that had risen faded just as quickly. After all, his own life was far more critical!

"Aboli!" Louis suddenly shouted in alarm. Aboli seemed to realize something as well.

In an instant, she hurled Luna away, and Luna’s body slammed into Lucas’s laser gun.

The kind of weapon that could melt monsters in the blink of an eye didn’t even scratch Luna.

Lucas caught Luna, steadying her. He suddenly smiled at Louis, his expression filled with a disturbing satisfaction: "Louis, I knew it. I knew I was right—you really did betray us."

Pausing momentarily, he laughed wildly: "Now, even if I punish you until you’re bleeding, that foolish Luna won’t be able to save you anymore!"

With that, he charged forward, his massive spear thrusting straight at Aboli.

The battle erupted in chaos. Louis wore a worried look, as if he had no idea how to intervene—but in reality, he had already leaned back against the railing.

Goodbye, lunatics.

Luna and Lucas could wipe out monsters instantly, but Aboli was no mere monster. She was the heroine of this novel, and in the original story, she had been the leader of the criminal group—Luna and Lucas had only ever served under her.

Lucas’s massive spear was crushed and twisted in Aboli’s hands, while both of Luna’s arms were torn off and flung aside.

But the Demonic Twins’ entire bodies were weapons. Luna suddenly soared into the air, her legs fusing into a giant spear, like a wasp lunging straight for Aboli!

Aboli caught it with her hands, but Luna’s eyes gleamed with a violet light as she pressed harder, pinning Aboli in place.

At that moment, Lucas’s other arm suddenly transformed into a massive gun, its barrel glowing with a strange purple energy—aimed straight at Aboli!

Aboli and Luna were engulfed in searing, blazing light, with nowhere to escape!

Luna would be fine. But Aboli—she had to die!
