Tang Jinyu raised his hand and covered her face. He then pushed her away. “Stand up properly.”
“Little Tang Tang, you’re so cruel. Aren’t you afraid of breaking your little cutie’s heart?”
Tang Jinyu ignored her woeful look. He then said, “You heard what they said just now. They brought forward their deal. There’s still half an hour left. We don’t know when Feng Yi and the others will come. So, our targets are Brother Long and the leader of another party who he’s meeting later on.”
“We won’t make it back in time if we go and inform Feng Yi and the others. So, it’s probably just the two of us in this mission.”
“Be careful when we carry out our mission later on!”
Tang Jinyu was sure that the others would come and join them if the deal were to be carried out at night.
However, it was hard to tell now given that they only had half an hour left.
Jian Qi looked at him and smiled. “Little Tang Tang, do you think that the two of us can tackle them?”
Tang Jinyu took the ropes and tied all of the bandits around the pillar. Then, he got up and looked at Jian Qi. He threw her a question, “Are you afraid?”
Jian Qi looked deep into his eyes. Then, she grabbed hold his hand. Tang Jinyu was about to pull his hand away but Jian Qi tightened her grasp on his hand. “I wish that I can die on the same day as you, even if we were not born on the same day!”
“Jian Qi, it’s not a drill!” Tang Jinyu said seriously.
“Don’t worry. I’ll protect you!” Jian Qi raised her eyebrow at him. She seemed rather smug and confident.
Tang Jinyu took a deep breath. He looked at her playfulness and said helplessly, “All you need to do is take good care of yourself.”
“Why don’t you give me a hug so that I could be more courageous?” Jian Qi smiled and asked.
However, she did not wait for Tang Jinyu’s reply. She held out her hands and hugged him.
Tang Jinyu did not know how to respond to that.
He sighed in defeat but he did not push her away.
He thought that she would let him go after a short while but he had clearly looked down on her abilities in taking advantage of him.
She was nuzzling against his chest relentlessly with her messy hair.
Did she think that she was a pet?
Moreover, she started to pinch his waist at the same time.
Tang Jinyu took a deep breath and said with a low voice, “Let go of me!”
“If I die later on, this would be our last hug. I want to hug you for as long as I can.” Jian Qi smirked and said happily.

“Looks like you believe in these kinds of things.” Jian Qi smirked playfully. She teased him, “You’re such a logical and practical person. Why would you believe in a joke like this? I’m really surprised!”
“Go for a ten-kilometre run when this mission is over!” Tang Jinyu said.

Jian Qi held onto Tang Jinyu as she was thinking about that. At the same time, she started to use both her hands and legs without holding back.
