Crocodile took a deep breath. ‘I’m not going to get tricked so easily.’
‘Be steady!’ He thought to himself.
Lightning laughed. “Didn’t we tell you what we talked about earlier? Don’t you believe us?”
“What do you think?” Jian Qi smiled.
“Goddess, I’m telling…” Feng Yi was about to spill the beans when Crocodile reached out with one hand to cover his mouth.
“Feng Yi, we need to talk!” Crocodile said through gritted teeth. As Crocodile smiled at Jian Qi, he continued to cover Feng Yi’s mouth with one hand while wrapping the other hand around his neck as he dragged him away.
Lightning chuckled. “I’m going with them to make sure they don’t start fighting!”
While speaking, Lightning was about to turn around when he noticed that Leng Yu was still there. “Leng Yu, you must come with us. If I can’t keep them under control, you must use your prowess in martial arts to keep them at bay!”
“In that case, I want to come along too!” Jian Qi said.
“Big Sister Qi, you’ve played around for three days. You ought to practise a little to get back on track. Hurry up and return to your training!” Lightning said while pulling Leng Yu along.
Jian Qi raised her brows. Could this bunch of people make it more obvious that they were trying to hide something from her?
However, she did indeed have to start training again. After all, there was not much time left.
Right then, Feng Yi managed to break free once he was dragged to a corner. “I challenge you to a showdown!” He glared at Crocodile.
“Yo, are you mad?” Crocodile raised his brows.
“Let’s begin. Leng Yu and I will act as the judges!” Lightning chuckled.
After taking a cold glance at the three lame individuals, Leng Yu turned around and started walking away.
“Leng Yu, where are you going?” Lightning asked. “Don’t go looking for Jian Qi!”
“Am I as lame as you lot?” Leng Yu asked in disdain without turning her head around as she continued walking away.
Lightning. “…”
“Get ready, Crocodile. I’m going to beat you up today!” Feng Yi gritted his teeth.
“Beat me up?” Crocodile raised his brows.
Lightning chuckled. “This is something between you two as a couple. I’m not going to get myself involved. Goodbye!”
Feng Yi was enraged. “Who the hell would want to be in a relationship with him? Lightning, don’t you leave. I’m going to beat the both of you up today!”
“Feng Yi, you’re asking for it. I admire you for your courage!” Lightning smirked.
“Do you want to go first, or should I?” Lightning turned to look at Crocodile.
“I think we should beat him up together!” Crocodile chuckled.
After Crocodile finished his sentence, the two men started attacking Feng Yi.
With the three men getting into a fight, the outcome was obvious.
Feng Yi naturally ended up being cruelly beaten up.

“Everyone should have been fully prepared over the last few days. We will be heading over tomorrow. Are you confident about completing the mission this time?” Tang Jinyu asked as he looked at the group of people in front of him.
“Yes!” Everyone answered in unison.
“During the mission, I have only one request which is that you must all obey orders!” Tang Jinyu began speaking. “I hope you can all make it back alive!”
Without adding on anything else, Tang Jinyu looked over at Jian Qi who was standing next to him. When he saw that she was seemingly daydreaming, he subconsciously frowned a little.
“Dismissed.”
As everyone started leaving, Jian Qi finally recollected herself and began approaching Tang Jinyu. She had returned to her normal self by then.
“Instructor Tang, can you share information on the counter-terrorism team with us?”
“Why do you want to get information about them?” Tang Jinyu asked.
“To get a better understanding of who we are going up against.” Jian Qi chuckled.
Tang Jinyu suddenly stopped walking as he looked at Jian Qi with a probing stare. Jian Qi felt slightly creeped out by the look in his eyes.
“Instructor Tang, why are you gazing at me so lovingly?” Jian Qi had a devilish smile on her face when she raised her brows at Tang Jinyu flirtatiously.
