The Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental’s entire body exploded with red lightning energy that enhanced its body’s strength and speed and cracked the ground beneath its feet due to the immense power of its stride, resembling not a life form but a humanoid missile capable of immense destruction. The elemental’s target was the spellcasters at the back, showing great battle awareness.
However, before the elemental could make it, Freya appeared in its path, her shield up as she took the powerful charge of the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental head-on.
Freya’s eyes widened the moment the fist of the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental clashed with her shield since she felt like a building had crashed over her. Even with her body enhanced by her Force and totemic energy, it took all her effort not to be sent flying away. Still, she was pushed five meters back, leaving a trail of marks on the ground.
The Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental’s eyes narrowed in surprise. It had charged a great amount of energy into its body and fist, expecting to break the woman’s shield and then rip her neck, but she managed to endure, making its killing intent toward her only grow.
However, before it could make a move, Vlad flashed forward, his sword full of demonic flames and Force as he hacked toward the elemental with all his power, the force behind his weapon capable of severing a tank in half. His target was the extended arm of the elemental, intending to sever it, which would drastically diminish the strength of the enemy.
Just as the sword was about to cut the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental’s arm, the eyes of the elemental glowed, and its energy emerged once more, but this time it did not take the form of lightning. Instead, it generated a shield of blood that it used to defend from the attack.
A blast of kinetic force and demonic fire spread in all directions as the sword clashed with the blood shield. Vlad clenched his teeth as he used all the strength of his body to pierce through, but before he could reach the elemental’s flesh, the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental pushed the weapon to the side and sent a ferocious kick to the young man.
Thanks to the warning of the A.I. Chip, Vlad was able to take a step back, diminishing the impact of the strike, but still, the kick felt like it would break his abdomen and send him flying away. Not losing its momentum, the blood it used to generate a shield transformed into a small and thin blood spear, which the elemental grabbed with its right hand.

Grey Hawk saw the spear coming his way. Luckily, he had not been waiting this entire time, and just as the supersonic blood spear was about to reach him, a massive wall of ice appeared in front of him.
"BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!" A massive boom echoed as the spear crashed into the ice wall, not different than the sound a missile would make when crashing into a building.
Grey Hawk’s eyes widened as he saw the spear piercing through his ice wall, only slowing down after the tip had managed to pull through. Cold sweat immediately appeared on the old Viking’s brow as a few centimeters more and the blood spear would have pierced his right eye.
A solemn expression immediately appeared on Vlad and Freya’s faces as they saw how close they were to losing someone, and the battle had not even started a minute ago. The Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental was nothing short of a monster, showing the might that the corruption of high-tier Abyssal blood could grant an elemental entity.
Luckily for the group, it seemed that the attack also affected the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental, as its entire body trembled the next second, and chaotic waves of energy emerged from the center of its chest.
While the Abyssal blood and demonic corruption had granted the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental immense power, it also left it with great weakness, and using its energy generated a potent backlash.
"Tesla Anchor!" The good news for the group did not end there since the next second, a massive anchor made of lightning and unique runes appeared in the sky above the battlefield.
Jormungandr immediately channeled all his power into the spell, and all the lightning in the area began to flow into the anchor, including the one around the body of the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental.
Monstrous bloodlust and hatred emerged in the eyes of the Lightning Abyssal Blood Elemental as it saw streams of lightning that surrounded its body leaving for the anchor, and it immediately focused on the origin of the spell, ready to charge forward and rip the old Viking and small yellow cat to pieces.
