Beyond the Apocalypse Chapter 738

All seven figures crossed the weakened Crystal Wall, yet the one leading them, walking at the forefront like a blazing comet, was none other than the Superior Legend Angel. His aura was immense, radiating divine might and searing heat. The others, though powerful in their own right, dared not walk too close—his presence alone was suffocating.

It didn’t take long for the seven to arrive above the capital of the Xaos Kingdom. Floating high in Terra’s skies, they cast their eyes downward, surveying the city below and its guardians.

From their elevated vantage point, the elders scanned both their own fallen subordinates and the defending forces of the Xaos Kingdom. What they saw filled them with mixed emotions—disappointment toward their subordinates, and incredulous fury toward the power this unknown civilization possessed.

Their own Legends had been brought low and held hostage. That alone was humiliation. But more so, the idea that some backwater kingdom—one no one in their faction had even heard of—had dared to demand ransom from them? That was unacceptable.

None burned hotter with rage than the Superior Legend Angel.

"How dare you!" he roared, his voice cracking like divine thunder across the sky.

His aura exploded with golden fire, releasing a wave of divine heat that seared the air and turned the sky a blazing gold. The pressure was so immense it would have incinerated anyone beneath the Sage Level instantly.

The energy towers of Xaos City responded at once. Dozens of defensive systems activated simultaneously, forming layered forcefields that superimposed over one another. The barrier shimmered with dense runes and circulating arcs of energy. It crackled with such power that even a Superior Legend would have to struggle to force his way through.

The sight stunned the High Legends. They exchanged glances, silently questioning how this unknown "Xaos Kingdom" had developed such advanced technology—and how they could hide such power while being hidden from the rest of the universe.

Still, now was not the time for investigation. All eyes turned toward the two figures suspended midair: the Superior Legend from Heaven, ablaze with divine fury, and the white-haired warrior holding the bloodied Angel like a discarded doll.

The High Legends remained silent—neutral observers for now. While they shared a purpose with the angelic powerhouse, they also knew that unnecessary risk in the Higher Dimensions could be fatal. Watching from a distance, they waited.

Vlad, meanwhile, smiled.

Everything was unfolding according to plan.

Without hesitation, he tossed the broken Angel toward Overlord, who caught her effortlessly and vanished from view. Vlad then ascended higher, rising until he stood face-to-face with the Superior Legend.

No more words were needed.

With one breath, Vlad released everything. His psychic force, Depravita aura, and demonic energy all ignited at once. The sky darkened around him, and the very laws of space bent at his call.

The Superior Legend narrowed his eyes, then grinned coldly.

He raised a hand, pointing a single finger toward Vlad—and unleashed a golden cannon of divine fire so immense it consumed the distant mountain range in a flash.

The beam screamed through space, but Vlad was already gone, having teleported high into the atmosphere before blinking forward again in a flash of compressed spatial energy. He reappeared above the angelic being, aiming for a direct assault.

But he couldn’t teleport directly into melee range. The Superior Legend’s divine energy had saturated the space around him, forming a natural repulsion field—like a bubble of raw law power. The spatial density itself resisted intrusion.

Still, Vlad pressed on.

The Superior Legend raised his other hand, and a storm of flaming arrows burst into existence—thousands of them, shimmering with sacred fire. They shot toward Vlad, nearing the speed of light, homing in on his position.

Vlad dodged the first wave, teleporting left, then down, then to the far side of the sky.

But the arrows turned.

Again and again, he dodged, blinking through space, teleporting mere meters ahead of their impact zones. But with every move, the Superior Legend added another layer to the attack.

With a single motion, the angel lifted his left hand.

Explosions erupted spontaneously in the air around Vlad—targeted detonations, appearing within his predictive movement paths. Now he wasn’t only dodging arrows but also spontaneous divine blasts that tore open the sky.

Vlad gritted his teeth, eyes narrowing with intensity. He activated Will of Wrath, his heartbeat thundering like a war drum. His wrathful energy surged, bolstering his strength and speed exponentially.

His teleportations became sharper. His body moved like lightning.

Flaming arrows passed within inches of his flesh, while explosions detonated just behind him. He twisted, spun, and flashed, phasing through gaps in the storm. It was a dance of survival and ferocity, pushing him to the absolute limit.

Still he pressed forward.

Still he drew closer.

He dipped low, feinted upward, spun midair, and blinked past a final salvo. He was now within striking range.

Vlad’s eyes flared with psychic light as he generated a laser beam of compressed spatial energy. With a roar, he fired downward, cutting through the pursuing arrows and clearing his path.

Freed at last, he appeared in front of the Superior Legend—and threw a punch.

It was no ordinary strike. It carried with it the full weight of Depravita spatial mastery, compressing space into a fist-sized impact zone. The pressure could crush meteors and rip through dimensional barriers.

The Superior Legend’s eyes widened, shocked that Vlad had reached him.

He flared his radiant wings, which glowed white-hot with divine flame—and flapped.

A massive shockwave of celestial fire exploded outward, engulfing Vlad in a blazing inferno as wide as a city.

All the High Legends looking from the sidelines could not help but tremble as they saw those flames. If any of them had been engulfed in such destructive power, while they might survive, they would have been left in such a critical state that they would be looking if they could even move.
