Of course, with great power came a great gear cost, but Jormungandr could endure it thanks to his Depravita Racial Heritage, powerful soul force, and massive energy pool.
"Let’s get to work," Vlad said to the small yellow cat and now smiled.
While the A.I. Chip analyzed the Demonic Lightning Prowler Runic Set; they began to process the materials, using gallons of Champion demon’s blood, several hearts, and various other internal organs.
It took them nearly half an hour to complete the process. Vlad charged all the materials into the runic pen before placing the small yellow cat on the operating table and beginning to work.
A sharp light appeared in Jormungandr’s eyes as he felt the runic pen engraving the runic lines deep within his flesh and muscles. However, the immense pain that had nearly broken the mental fortitude of the others seemed to be barely an annoyance for the small cat.
Vlad noticed this and just smiled, knowing that Jormungandr must have used his A.I. Chip to reduce his body’s physiological response to pain. He continued working with sharp focus and steady hands, carefully carving the runic lines into the small yellow cat’s body.
There were a total of six runes, each extremely complicated and requiring a precision that neared that of a Rank 2 Rune. It took a lot of hard work and effort on Vlad’s part. After an hour, the young man’s forehead was covered in sweat, and his eyes had grown bloodshot. Yet, he did not lose focus, nor did his hand waver, and he carried on until he finally engraved the last runic line.
Vlad nearly fell to the ground due to mental and physical exhaustion, but he still showed a radiant smile as he saw the flawless Runic Set engraved on the small yellow cat’s body.
Jormungandr’s eyes were filled with awe and wonder as he glanced at the runic lines on his body and heard his own A.I. Chip describe the power and abilities of the new runic set. "Boss, with this Runic Set and my Depravita Ability’s Gluttony Spirit, I can release more than ten Champion Tier Spells without a problem before my energy pool depletes. And even then, it will take less than an hour for my Magic Water to be recharged!"
Vlad was genuinely impressed by the abilities of the small yellow cat. A newly advanced Champion Mage could, at most, release two or three Champion Tier Spells before running out of Magic, and it would take several hours for them to recharge their energy pool. But Jormungandr, at just Level 3, could already do much more than that.
"Now it is time for my own Runic Set." Vlad’s eyes showed a fierce light since it was finally time for his own Runic Set. However, he would not take one of the Rank 2 Runic Sets from his Second Past Life’s memories, as he had something else in mind.
With a wave of his hand, Vlad made the body of a massive, four-meter-tall, muscular black demon with large antlers appear. It was none other than Arasbus’ corpse.
Vlad still remembered the fiery propulsion and explosive abilities of the Abyssal demon, and he wanted it for himself. Before, that would have been impossible since it required a set of supernatural abilities beyond his current realm. But things were different now, thanks to the A.I. Chip.
"A.I. Chip, scan the body of the Abyssal demon and find the core of his blazing ability. I want to see the possibility of recreating it through the use of runes." Vlad spoke with a voice full of thrill, eager to obtain that power, envisioning leaping over entire buildings with a single leap and landing with the might of a missile capable of killing hundreds of demons.

Vlad couldn’t help but grow nervous as he watched the A.I. Chip analyzing the data. While in its ultimate form, there was nothing the chip couldn’t do. Right now, it was in its most basic state as it was connected to the power of his soul.

Luckily for Vlad, his worries were unfounded. The next second, the A.I. Chip’s robotic voice echoed once again in his mind, making him smile. He then lay down on the ground and closed his eyes, falling asleep immediately.
Since he would have to wait over six hours for the A.I. Chip to finish the analysis and design, Vlad used the time to rest, allowing his mind to relax so he could be in optimal working condition.
Jormungandr saw the young man fall asleep and jump onto his chest. He wasn’t sleepy, but that place felt comfortable as he continued his analysis and experiments through his A.I. Chip.
Vlad woke up almost seven hours later. He felt the small yellow cat on his chest and just smiled, remaining on the ground as he heard the A.I. Chip’s voice echoed inside his mind along with the virtual representation of a Runic Set with six runes.
