“Why are you still like this? Didn’t I just sleep with your wife? We’re all adults now. You can’t just blame it all on me when the both of us had been willing, right? Besides, you’ve beaten me before. So, don’t keep thinking about me. It makes me feel strange and afraid.” Jiang Ming said that he was afraid, but his expression was still carefree. He didn’t take this old man seriously at all.
Senior Lai could even see a hint of smugness in Jiang Ming’s eyes.
His fake smile instantly broke. After Senior Lai threw his cigarette onto the ground, he lifted his leg and crushed it with so much force, as if this wasn’t a cigarette but Jiang Ming’s face.
“Boss, don’t be rash. We have more important things to do,” a lackey came up and reminded him kindly.
“Shut up. Do I need you to teach me how to do things?” Senior Lai slapped the lackey across the face. After venting his anger, he looked coldly at Jiang Ming. “I don’t have the time to settle old scores with you today. Jiang Ming, if you don’t want to die, get lost and stop poking your nose into other people’s business.”
Quan Jue’s expression had been indifferent from the beginning to the end. It was as if he wouldn’t be afraid even if Jiang Ming abandoned him and left him alone to face so many people.
Jiang Ming smiled sinisterly. “I want to protect my employer. Why is this being nosy?”
Senior Lai laughed out loud. “That’s good. I can also get rid of you as well, then.”
With that, Senior Lai took a step back and his lackeys around him swarmed forward.
These people were all powerful outlaws with shining pistols in their hands.
“Quan Jue, leave quickly,” Jiang Ming whispered.
“Cut the crap. They wouldn’t dare to shoot in broad daylight.” With that, Quan Jue looked down at the steel pipes scattered on the ground.
With a lift of his toes, Quan Jue caught the steel pipe that flew up from the ground. With a backhand hit, he smashed it against the wall behind him.
A fist-sized hole was immediately left in the hard wall. Rubble flew everywhere as Quan Jue remained expressionless.
Senior Lai didn’t expect him to be so strong. “Young Master Quan, we don’t intend to hurt you. It’s just that our master wishes to see you and wants us to bring you over as a guest. Seeing how agitated you are now, why don’t you calm down first and follow us obediently?”
“Senior Lai, even my farts are more reliable than your words. Where do you plan to bring the Young Master to as a guest? The Hades Palace?” Jiang Ming’s handsome face was filled with disdain as he slowly drew out a bayonet from his sleeve.
Quan Jue’s eyes were cold. Similarly, he showed no fear as he waited for his next move.
“Young Master Quan, since you don’t know right from wrong, we can only offend you.” Senior Lai sneered.
“If you want to take him away, you have to get past me first.” Jiang Ming was expressionless. With his bayonet in hand, he charged towards a lackey beside him.
The lackey indeed didn’t dare to fire recklessly. In that moment of hesitation, the tendons on his wrist were sliced open. Blood splattered as he lost consciousness.
Without giving the man a chance to scream, Jiang Ming flew up and kicked the lackey’s knee heavily.
Taking advantage of the fact that the lackey was kneeling and wailing miserably, Jiang Ming raised his knee and knocked it harshly against his face.
The lackey’s face was severely injured as his legs gave way and he fell to the ground, losing consciousness.
“Haha, come on! Do it again!” Jiang Ming laughed happily and raised his hand gently to stab another lackey in the shoulder.
“Ahhhh, my shoulder! Help!” The lackey’s shoulder was pierced through by the bayonet, and the sharp blade was stuck in his bones. It was so painful that he had no choice but to stand on his toes to ease the pain.
