When Sheng Yang returned the book, Jin Lu immediately borrowed it. However, he had an ulterior motive and saw that Sheng Yang was about to leave. “Junior…”
Sheng Yang stared at him, her gaze as though she had said everything she needed to say.
Jin Lu waved his hands. “Sheng Yang, I don’t have any delusional thoughts about you.”
“Alright, then tell me what you want to say.”
“Why didn’t you say anything just now?”
“The process isn’t important, the result is.” Sheng Yang’s words hit the nail on the head.
“You mean… the competition with the students from the Ivy League?”
“I’m not talking about that,” Sheng Yang said seriously. “The result of the competition isn’t important, the process is more important.”
Jin Lu was completely stunned. It took him a few moments to realize that Sheng Yang was enjoying the process of the competition. Looking at her now, she was rubbing her hands together as though she was determined to take down her opponents that day.

A few days had passed. Every day, there would be a beautiful cake on Sheng Yang’s table. It was different every day.

They looked like they were made by a famous chef. They were delicious.
Since they appeared in the dorm, Sheng Yang naturally had an answer. There were only a few people in the dorm.
At first, she guessed that it was a gift from Luo Mengmeng because she had stood up for her.
She rarely ate sweet desserts, so she gave the cake to Luo Mengmeng on the first day. Luo Mengmeng asked her, “Wow, who gave you such a beautiful and cake?” Hence, Sheng Yang was sure that the cake wasn’t from Luo Mengmeng, and she had already given her a ‘big gift’ to thank her for the previous incident. Thus, there were only two people left in the dormitory. The answer was obvious.
After eating cakes for a few days, Luo Mengmeng was curious. “Who’s giving you cake every day? Also, this cake is really delicious. It melts in your mouth. Yangyang, are you sure you don’t want to try it?”
The girl with two ponytails on her head had cream on the sides of her mouth. Her big eyes were blinking, and her face was full of sincerity. She looked like a cartoon.
“No thanks.” Sheng Yang blinked. “I don’t like sweet foods. They make me stupid.”
“Cough—” Luo Mengmeng choked on a mouthful of cream.
What was there to be afraid of even if Yangyang became a little stupid? But if she ate it, it would add to her stupidity, adding insult to injury to her already low IQ. It was terrible. Looking at the delicious cake in front of her, she suddenly couldn’t eat anymore and lost her appetite.
