"Hey Qing Yi, have you noticed that all these weird things started happening after Moyan and I came back from Holy City?"
Qing Yi nodded. "It seems so, things have been a bit restless since the night you guys returned."
Hong Yi suddenly tugged at Qing Yi’s sleeve, lowering his voice, "Do you think Moyan and I might have brought back something unclean from that little forest in Holy City?"

Jun Moyan and the drunkard, walking ahead, heard the noise and turned around, staring curiously at the pair behind them.
The other people in the hallway also stared at them with strange looks.
"What are you . . . doing?" The drunkard pointed at the two with his hand.
Qing Yi, seeing the drunkard looking at them, swiftly slapped Hong Yi on the back of his head with disgust, "Hey, get down now."
"There’s a ghost." Hong Yi, not daring to open his eyes, clung even tighter to Qing Yi.
The strange glances of the nurses, patients, and families in the hallway increasingly shifted between Qing Yi, Hong Yi, and the drunkard and Jun Moyan.
Jun Moyan and the drunkard, without a second thought and in perfect sync, turned and walked away.
The only thought in their minds was: Embarrassing, better keep a distance.
Seeing the drunkard and Jun Moyan leave, Qing Yi got anxious, pinched Hong Yi hard on the waist, and cursed, "I was just scaring you, there’s no ghost. Hurry up and let go, Moyan and the others have left."

Seeing the people around them pointing and whispering, Qing Yi hurriedly dragged Hong Yi away.

Once outside the hospital, they got into the car.
Qing Yi glanced at Hong Yi, who was gripping the safety belt tightly on the passenger seat, and mocked:
"With your level of courage, how were you not afraid when you killed someone?"
"What does being afraid of ghosts have to do with killing people?" Hong Yi retorted unhappily.
"Aren’t you afraid that their vengeful spirits will come after you?"
"Shut up, just drive," Hong Yi covered his ears, turned slightly away, unwilling to engage further.
Qing Yi shook his head. "Hopeless."
Glancing at the rearview mirror, he saw the drunkard asleep on the back seat, completely unaffected by his and Hong Yi’s ordeal.
