This little rascal always mocks him with a little female cat when he’s drinking medicine or soaking in a medicinal bath. All he can do is glare in response, and every time he sees him trying so hard, he thinks it’s actually for the little female cat.
Seeing the Little Gray Cat bristling with anger, Bai Yi secretly laughs to himself.
He knew this little guy would react this way. Every time he mentions the little female cat, it gets so mad; there’s never a time it doesn’t glare at him.
But he loves teasing it because he feels it’s more spirited when it’s angry than any other time.
This little guy is too aloof, it seems only this way can he get its attention.
"Come, let me help you stretch a bit." Bai Yi smiles sycophantically as he grasps one of the Little Gray Cat’s tiny legs, gently moving and massaging the muscles along its calf.
Feng Liyan lies there motionless, feeling sore and uncomfortable all over. Bai Yi’s massaging does help alleviate some of it.
"How’s that? Feeling any better?"
"Let’s rest for a bit longer and then continue, aiming for a speedy recovery. Once you’re well, I won’t have to worry about you all day. You have no idea how distracted I’ve been from work because of you these days."

He always felt there was something off about the Little Princess’s Purple Crane visiting the other day.

"At the rate you’re recovering, in maybe half a month you should be able to walk around freely. I’ll see if I can find a home with a good background, someone caring who loves small animals."
