Bao Jingyan stuffed the little darling into her arms.
He said, "They’ve played themselves wild! I’ll take care of our son, and you take care of our daughter. Give them a bath."

The way he referred to them as their son and daughter made her legs go weak.
Without revealing her feelings, she sized up the two kids.
Sure enough, they were both quite the handful.
Thankfully, with Gui Zhi watching over them, they hadn’t gone too far.
Su Ruanruan then took the little darling into the bathroom while Bao Jingyan scooped up little Ci’an.
As they left, little Ci’an’s face was slightly flushed.
He was happy.
After the bath, the two kids, fresh and clean, sat side by side on the big bed, looking through storybooks.
Su Ruanruan herself felt refreshed and invigorated.
But Bao Jingyan was covered in water stains.
His trousers were slightly loose, and his white shirt had slipped out of his belt.
Somewhat sexy, somewhat tantalizing.
Su Ruanruan’s face heated up at the sight. Pretending not to notice, she sat at the dressing table to care for herself.
She said softly, "Tonight, I’ll sleep with the two kids. You can sleep in the guest room."
Bao Jingyan moved closer to her.
He gently tugged at her earlobe and asked in a low voice, "It’s been a few days of free time, can you really bear to ignore me?"
Su Ruanruan was mindful of the two kids.
But she also knew that it had been difficult for him, a man in his prime, to hold back for so many days.
After some thought, she made a promise to him: "Go to the guest room first, after I’ve put the kids to bed, I’ll come over!"
Bao Jingyan immediately let go.
He straightened up, very seriously: "I’ll go take a shower; I’ll wait for Miss Su."
Su Ruanruan blushed modestly.
Bao Jingyan teased her a few more times before taking his bathrobe to go take a shower.
After finishing her skincare routine, Su Ruanruan properly tucked the children into bed.
She was gentle and patient.
Little Ci’an listened to the story while leaning against her.
The little darling graciously waved her hand: Sister has plenty to share; sister doesn’t mind!
Once the two kids fell asleep together.
Su Ruanruan quietly got out of bed, tidied up her clothes, and went to the guest room to meet Bao Jingyan.
Only one bedside lamp was on in the guest room.
The soft yellow light was tender and gentle.
Bao Jingyan sat at the bedside smoking; as she entered, his profound gaze fell on her.
Su Ruanruan approached, kneeling beside the bed: "Why are you still smoking so late?"
He embraced her.
Resting his forehead against hers, he said: "Thinking of you made me restless. Smoking helps to relax a little."
His voice was really hoarse; just hearing it made Su Ruanruan feel things.
She tilted her head and kissed him initiatively.
Bao Jingyan chuckled lightly, teasing her: "What’s the rush, Miss Su!"
Su Ruanruan’s face turned red, and her heart raced; she lowered her head to bite his shoulder, whispering: "Bao Jingyan, how can I like you when you’re so naughty!"
He treated her tenderly.
As his emotions got the better of him, he kissed her earlobe softly, his voice raspy and breathy, saying: "Because I treat you well! Ruanruan, you don’t know how much you attract me."
What followed went without saying.
After several idle days, he wouldn’t just let things end so easily...

He Jitang sat in his study, with the Housekeeper standing before him.
He Jitang asked, "Is Ci’an doing well over there?"
The Housekeeper bowed and answered fluently.
He said, "Miss Su treats the young master very well, and Master Bao treats him as his own. I just called over there, and I was told that tonight the young master is sleeping in the same room as the young miss and Master Bao."
He Jitang paused.
He slowly lit a cigarette, took a few puffs, and then said, "Understood."
The Housekeeper was about to leave.
Suddenly, he remembered something: "Miss Lin is going abroad; she wants to see you one last time before she leaves, and she’s waiting outside."
He Jitang didn’t want to see her.
But after thinking it over, he still agreed to see her.
He let Lin Xianni into the study.
