Billionaire's Contracted & Unloved Wife Chapter 145

Aiden was now determined to conduct a DNA test on Hace without Ariel's knowledge, he wanted to get to the root of this as fast as he could.

That was why, that night, he was in his car, heading to Ariel's apartment, Again.

Well, that was one of the reasons he was heading there; the second reason was that Gregory had texted him saying that Moon had refused to leave his gate; she was waiting for him to come home so they would seriously talk about their marriage.

At this point, he knew that Moon was an idiot. She had seen Ariel the other day and she still believed that he would marry her. It wasn't as if he was ever considering marrying her, but let's just assume he was, now that his wife was back, and Moon was aware that he never divorced his wife; why was she insistent on marking him?

Was she so deranged that he wanted two wives, and to be married to his sister too?

Aiden sighed tiredly as he pulled up in front of Ariel's apartment. He was too tired of everything in his life; he just wished he could resolve everything between him and Ariel.

He suddenly didn't feel like being at war with Ariel anymore. Yes, she might have cheated, but he wanted his wife back, and he could forgive her, only if she cloudless forgave him too.

Three years without her had made him understand that he would be miserable without her. He was starting to feel alive again, and if he dared to let her walk away from him again, then he would just be as good as dead.

He wanted her, and he would have her. Period.

He walked into the apartment and went right into the elevator, tapping his foot impatiently as it went io to her floor.

He really hoped Jace was his son, but even if he wasn't, that wouldn't stop him from pursuing his wife, after all, he, too, had a child from someone else.

He reached her floor and marched straight to her door. He was about to know about it when someone pulled it open from the inside.

The face he saw behind the door made his blood boil.

"Hello, Mr. Chaz, how may we help you?" Logan asked, standing in front of the door.

Now that he knew that he was Ariel's husband, he knew that Aiden wanted her back. He was going to let her get her back so easily, that's if Ariel was even willing to have him.

He had decided to make Aiden see that one should value what they had because what's broken can never be whole again.

Aiden looked at Logan like he was crazy, "Step away from the door, Logan," Aiden kept his voice down, he didn't want to create a scene that'd make Ariel ask him to leave.

Logan smiled. "I feel honored; you remembered my name; that means I'm really a threat to you, am I not?" Logan daunted.

Aiden put his hands into his pocket and looked Logan in the eyes.

"Acting this way means you already know who I am to her...so why are you blocking my way?" Aiden questioned with a raised brow.

Logan shrugged, "If you were really man enough, I wouldn't be in her life in the first place," He replied.

Aiden clenched his jaws; Logan was right; if he had been observant in his relationship with Ariel, they wouldn't have had the problem they had, and she wouldn't have to run off to God knows where and return with this annoying blonde.

However, Aiden wasn't one to be messed with; he didn't allow others to strive in his territory either; Ariel was his, and he'd claim her, regardless.

He smirked at Logan, "Do you really believe Ariel would choose you? We both know who she wants, and it's not you...and you know that, if not, you wouldn't be stopping me from going in to see her if you're not so insecure. And as a man with ego, do you really take pride in flirting with someone else's wife?" His voice was low as he stepped close to Logan.

Logan was quiet for a while; Aiden's words did get to him; he loved Ariel, but Ariel always let him know that he was just a friend to her, and he knew it was because of the man in front of him.

"Well, if that woman I'd your wife, then yes, Mr. Chaz, I'll give me great joy to flirt with her, and perhaps, after your divorce, she'd become my wife," Logan smiled at Aiden.

"You bastard," Aiden was about to push him out of the way when he suddenly stopped as he heard Ariel's voice.

"Logan, who's at the door?" She asked and walked to the door.

"He just got here, come in, Mr. Chaz," Logan reluctantly made way for Aiden.

Ariel stepped back, looking at Aiden in surprise. "W-what are you doing here?" She questioned.

Aiden gave Logan a secret look before he walked into the house, "Hi, Moma, I'm here to see you, can't I?" He smiled and walked up to her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

Ariel quickly glanced at Logan and saw him balling his fists and looking away from them.

"Stop it, Aiden," She removed his hands from her and stepped back from him.

"Logan, do you still need me to-"

"Don't worry, I just remembered I have to see a friend; I'll send you an update later," Logan smiled at her; he went to her, and hugged her, "Good night," He kissed her cheek and left the house.

Ariel could feel the burning gaze on her back even before she turned.

"I don't appreciate that, Ariel," Aiden's eyes darkened, his fists clenched.

"Like what?" Ariel questioned, walking past Aiden and going to sit on the sofa.

Aiden followed her, he lowered himself beside her, leaving a little space between them.

He turned his body to look at Ariel, noticing that she now wore an oversized shirt that she had buttoned up to the neck.

He suddenly remembered that she had wien a turtle neck earlier that day, and now she had an oversized shirt buttoned to her neck. He immediately knew that she was trying to hide something, and he felt a kind of pride swelling in his chest that he was the one who gave her the mark she was hiding.

He subtly moved towards her, the side of his thigh touching hers, his hand gently going on top of her thigh.

Ariel snapped her head to him, "I'm tired, Aiden, I don't want any drama with you tonight," She sighed.

Aiden placed a hand on her cheek and turned her face back to him. "I don't like Logan's hand on what's mine, Moma," He caressed her cheek with his fingers.

Ariel frowned, "And who's yours?" She asked haughtily.

Aiden smiled, the hand on her lap went up to her waist and drew her close to him, "You," He whispered close to her face.

Ariel scoffed, "I don't belong to you, Aiden, I belong to myself, I'm not a commodity or a-"

"Shh..." He placed a finger on her lips, shaking his head, "Not in that way, baby girl...I was just saying, you belong to me the way a woman belongs to a man..." He whispered.

Ariel gulped, heat starting to spread across her skin, "I...I still don't belong to-"

"I belong to you, too...you own me...it's that obvious, I can't stay away from you, trust me I've tried, but nothing seems to work. We belong together, Ariel...let's try to recover what we've lost, please?" His voice was so tranquil and hypnotic that it got Ariel speechless and locked in on him.

Aiden saw that Ariel was no longer trying to put him off; he started to lean his face close to Ariel's; his lips almost touched hers, but he paused, searching her eyes.

"I'm going to kiss you, Ariel, and I'm not going to stop at just a kiss; I want to touch you, make love to you..." His hand went behind her neck, caressing it, "If you don't want me to do any of these things you can say no or simply push me away and I'll stop, I won't leave, I want to stay beside you tonight, but right now, I want you in a way a man wants a woman and if you let me kiss you, I'm not stopping," His voice had a hint of desperation in it as he looked into her eyes.

Ariel slowly blinked. She looked into his eyes, and for the first time since her return, she saw the man she had fallen in love with: honest, open, charming, and hot.

"Take it as a rehearsal," She whispered and pressed her lips against his.

Aiden's breath hitched in his throat, his hand almost went limp in Ariel's went but he took charge of the situation.

"Not here, we'll be needing a bed this time," He stood and carried Ariel with him, heading up the stairs.
