Yan Zhirou smirked coldly, her mind already calculating the next move.
"Mom, go quickly! Or do you want me to approach Young Master Mo myself? That would make me seem too forward."
Ye Lirong agreed and hastily chased after him.
Ye Lirong shouted loudly, drawing the attention of many in the hall.
Just back from Ancheng University, Mo Chuxi was already in a foul mood due to Xu Nuo’s provocation earlier in the morning. Seeing Ye Lirong now, his handsome features grew even colder.
"Young Master Mo, I’m Rou’s mother! You must still remember me, right?"
Ye Lirong approached with a flattering smile.
Mo Chuxi cast a glance at the middle-aged woman in front of him, his face cold and impassive.

"Young Master Mo, I know you helped our Old Yan out of that place. To express our gratitude, I was hoping to invite you to our home for lunch tomorrow. Rou will be there too!"
Ye Lirong deliberately emphasized Yan Zhirou.
Standing at the VIP elevator, Mo Chuxi’s lips curved into a faint smile.
Did they really think he, Mo Chuxi, had taken a liking to that Yan Zhirou?
Yan Zhirou walked up with a gentle, alluring smile on her charming face.
"Thank you so much for helping my father. Please do us the honor of joining us for a meal at home!"
Mo Chuxi’s long eyes glanced over at her, seeing through the façade of Yan Zhirou’s pretentious face, while in his mind, he could vividly picture Yan Xinxin’s simple and refreshing features.
"Young Master Mo, since Rou has spoken up, you should say yes!"
Ye Lirong grinned eagerly, as if Yan Zhirou’s mere invitation was a monumental privilege to Mo Chuxi—one he couldn’t possibly decline.
Yan Zhirou gazed at Mo Chuxi’s perfect profile, her face blushing shyly.
"Young Master Mo, please make sure to come tomorrow at noon. I’ll be waiting for you..."
Listening to Yan Zhirou’s tone, which only increased his aversion, Mo Chuxi pondered for a few seconds before nodding lightly.
Seeing Mo Chuxi agree, Ye Lirong shouted in excitement, while Yan Zhirou was overjoyed.
Mo Chuxi completely ignored the self-important mother and daughter duo, striding into the elevator.
"Young Master Mo, make sure to come early tomorrow!"

Complimented by Ye Lirong, Yan Zhirou began to swell with pride.
She had already sensed it—Young Master Mo definitely had feelings for her!
Mo Chuxi stepped out of the elevator to see Ah Ding already waiting for him.
With graceful strides, he walked toward his office, Ah Ding following closely behind.
"What have you found?"
"I’ve only uncovered a little so far, but since you instructed me to report any findings immediately, I’ve come now. However, I did discover something rather interesting."
Ah Ding spoke as he entered the office.
Mo Chuxi’s slender fingers unfastened the button at his wrist, his tall frame dignified and elegant as he lounged lazily in his chair.
Ah Ding stepped forward with the documents to report.
"Young Master Mo, I looked into it—Yan Xinxin has never had a boyfriend, nor does she have any particularly close friends at school. She seldom goes out for fun, except for once when a classmate celebrated their birthday. That classmate invited the whole class to a hotel, and Yan Xinxin attended, but she later disappeared."
"Disappeared? What do you mean?"
"Interestingly enough, it turns out you were also at that hotel on the same night, Young Master Mo."
