Lan Xuan bounced over to Yan Xinxin’s side, reached out to pull her into a half-embrace, and leaned close affectionately.
"What’s wrong? Is your stomach upset? Aunt Flo arrived?"
Yan Xinxin tugged at the corners of her lips and replied, but then a thought struck her—how foolish she had been.

"I... I didn’t have breakfast this morning. My stomach’s feeling a bit upset. I’ll head to the restroom."
"No need, you get warmed up first. I’ll be back soon."
Making an excuse, Yan Xinxin quickly turned and walked away.
But instead of heading to the restroom, she found a hidden spot to try and suppress her nausea and dry heaving.

Hearing a voice from ahead, Yan Xinxin lifted her gaze and saw Xu Nuo walking toward her.
"Why are you standing here?"

Yan Xinxin raised her hands to struggle, but instead, a familiar scent of orchids wafted to her nose. Then it was followed by the warm sensation of breath trailing across her neck.
A devilishly low and icy voice, laced with irritation, seeped into her ears like exquisite vintage wine.
