Beside a grave near the grove of pine trees, Yan Xinxin placed a bouquet of white roses and the cake box on a tombstone.
She took the handmade cake out of the box, lit the candles, and then lifted her slightly tearful, beautiful eyes to look at the black tombstone before her.

"Chun, Mom has come to see you."
She spoke softly, the sorrow in her heart finally overflowing uncontrollably, causing her glistening tears to fill her eyes in an instant.
"Chun, Mom just made this cake herself. Isn’t it cute? I wonder if you’d like it. Your brother really loves Mom’s cakes..."
Yan Xinxin whispered softly, biting her lip in an attempt to suppress her grief, but her tears still spilled over and fell to the ground.
"Chun, Mom is having another baby. I don’t know if it’s you coming back to me, or if you’ve sent me a little brother or sister. Mom promises this time, I will protect your little sibling with all my heart."
Yan Xinxin made her vow, wiping her tears away as she worked hard to lift her lips into a smile.
From her bag, she took out a small box and opened it.
Inside was a piece of jewelry she had lovingly crafted herself—using ordinary materials to replace diamonds and other expensive components—Angel’s Tears.
The adorable angel had its eyes closed, wings outstretched.
But no one noticed the single tear trailing beside the angel.
"Chun, this is a gift Mom made for you. I hope you’ll like it..."
She placed the Angel’s Tears down, her gaze lingering affectionately on the tombstone.
Tong Lili didn’t dare wander aimlessly near the cemetery. After scoping out the area, she couldn’t spot Yan Xinxin anymore.
Frustrated, she was about to turn around when suddenly she saw Yan Xinxin standing at a nearby grave, wiping away tears.
"So heartbroken? Who died?"
Tong Lili murmured in confusion, hurriedly finding a spot to hide as she strained her eyes to see the words engraved on the tombstone.
Seeing the two words at the top of the tombstone, Tong Lili was completely flabbergasted!
Yan Xinxin had a daughter!
And her daughter had died!
Tong Lili couldn’t believe it. She stretched her neck to get a closer look and sure enough, saw Yan Xinxin’s name etched on the lower left corner of the tombstone.

This "Yan Zhichun" was Yan Xinxin’s daughter!
Yan Xinxin lingered near the tomb for about twenty minutes before finally turning to leave, albeit with great reluctance. Just as she walked out of the cemetery, she noticed someone approaching from not far away.
It had been a while since she last saw this person, who now appeared to be thriving.
"Yan Xinxin, I knew you’d come here today! I’ve been waiting for you here for ages!"
