Mu Qianshui practically screamed!
Yan Xinxin, who was rinsing rice in the kitchen, raised her eyes toward the balcony where the sound came from.
Was Mu Qianshui on a call?
"Mi... Mira, what did you say? Say it again!"
Mu Qianshui took a deep breath, trying her best to stay composed, but she couldn’t suppress her emotions no matter how hard she tried.
"Honey, I knew you’d be shocked, but it’s true— I think that Yan Xinxin might be Xixi’s biological mother!"
Mu Qianshui was completely dumbfounded, her entire expression frozen in utter disbelief!

Mu Qianshui suddenly recalled what Yan Xinxin had said not long ago.

Mu Qianshui gritted her teeth and hissed.
"That bitch! So she gave birth to twins back then!"
"I never would’ve thought Young Master Mo had already been with a woman five years ago. People in this circle still believe he’s indifferent to women!"
The mention of that timeframe made Mu Qianshui suddenly feel that something wasn’t right.
"Yan Xinxin gave birth to that boy, Xi, five years ago. Chuxi knows this, so how could he not have known she was pregnant with twins at the time? If his daughter was sold, how could Chuxi have remained indifferent?"
Meticulously analyzing the situation, Mu Qianshui’s thoughts raced. Mira, listening on the other end, also started to think something was off.

She gave the order and promptly hung up. Yet, she still couldn’t believe what Mira had just told her.
Five years ago, while working on a charity project, the Mu family had taken in a group of abandoned infants. Xixi was said to have a congenital heart condition. They felt pity for the child and thought she was cute, so they brought her home to adopt.
But no matter how she looked at it, she never imagined that the orphan they adopted back then turned out to be Yan Xinxin and Mo Chuxi’s daughter!

She started walking back into the house, and from a distance, she spotted Yan Xinxin in the open-plan kitchen, busy cooking.
