Yan Xinxin finished her class and couldn’t help but sneeze again.
She wasn’t sick, but her nose had been itching these past two days. Clearly, someone must be bad-mouthing me behind my back!
"Xinxin, you’re walking so fast. Is it because your husband is here to pick you up from class again?"
Lu Chenxue’s crisp voice drifted over, and when Yan Xinxin turned her head, she just so happened to catch sight of Ling Siyu’s sour face.
Yan Xinxin turned her head toward Lu Chenxue and gave her a slight, faint smile.
"Mm, he really is coming to pick me up today."
Hearing Yan Xinxin emphasize the word "really," Ling Siyu’s expression changed on the spot.
Could it be that the boyish man from yesterday who looked like a whipped puppy wasn’t actually Yan Xinxin’s husband?
"Yesterday, he had something come up unexpectedly, so he asked a friend to pick me up,"

Ling Siyu was so furious that she was rendered speechless, left practically fuming from all her pores by Yan Xinxin’s barbs!
Yan Xinxin maintained her calm, gentle smile.
"Xue, I’m heading out now. Bye-bye."
She waved at Lu Chenxue in greeting and then swept her captivating gaze briefly across Ling Siyu.
"I’m off to meet my husband now. Are you *really* not planning to take another peek? After all, you already followed me yesterday. Why fuss over a second time?"
"Yan Xinxin, what do you mean? Are you trying to provoke me on purpose?"
Ling Siyu raised her eyes in questioning indignation.
"Oh! I get it! You’re saying all this because you actually don’t want me to see your husband! I bet that man yesterday was someone you hired. You’ve been acting this entire time!"
"Who has the time to provoke you? Ling Siyu, let me be very clear—my husband is not only rich and powerful but also devastatingly handsome. He’s someone beyond your wildest imagination!"

Ling Siyu ground her teeth, utterly unwilling to admit defeat.
"Yan Xinxin! Do you think I’ll be intimidated by you? I actually want to see which blind man would ever marry someone like *you*!"
Yan Xinxin’s star-lit eyes narrowed in displeasure.
"Let’s hope you don’t end up blind yourself!"
With that, Yan Xinxin spun on her heel and walked away.
Ling Siyu glared furiously and, gritting her teeth, followed closely behind.
At the gate, a flashy luxury car immediately came into view.
Yesterday, Ah Ding had driven the company car, but today, this was Mo Chuxi’s personal sedan.
Yan Xinxin turned her head back slightly and cast a proud glance at Ling Siyu, who had been trailing her closely.
When she saw the young man standing by the car, Yan Xinxin came to a halt, her steps faltering.

Ling Siyu didn’t buy it, scoffing with even more disdain as her laughter grew mocking.
