Mo Chuxi got out of the car, his steps hurried as he ran to Yan Xinxin’s side.
"Yan Xinxin, why are you here? What are you doing?"
He questioned her urgently.

Yan Xinxin, lost in thought, lifted her tearful, reddened eyes. Her long, rain-drenched eyelashes trembled gently.

"Stop standing here in the rain. Come home with me."

Mo Chuxi stood up, his tall frame exuding elegance as he walked toward them.
"Are you two worried about your mommy?"
He asked gently, reaching out a hand to pat their little heads.
"Uh-huh! Xixi is worried about Mommy!"
Little Chenxi blinked her large grape-like eyes and answered seriously.
Meanwhile, Yan Chenxi had already turned toward the bed, climbing onto the Kingsize bed with his short little legs.
He leaned closer to the sleeping Yan Xinxin, pressing his small forehead against hers.
"It’s so hot! Xinxin has a fever!"
He exclaimed in panic, his eyes filled with worry as he looked at the unconscious Yan Xinxin.
Little Chenxi’s tiny brows furrowed upon hearing this.
"This isn’t good! Mommy can’t be sick!"
She pursed her brows tightly, a distressed look spreading across her innocent face as she dashed toward the bed.
"Babies, don’t worry. Your mommy has taken fever medication. She’ll be fine after some rest, alright?"
Mo Chuxi spoke softly, his tone gentle and filled with patience.
"Come on, it’s late now. You two should go to bed."
As he spoke, he scooped up Little Chenxi in one arm and reached out a hand toward Yan Chenxi.
"Xi, let’s go back to your room to sleep."
Yan Chenxi furrowed his small, sharp brows as he stared at Yan Xinxin, reluctant to leave the bedside. Eventually, he climbed down from the bed and extended his hand obediently toward Mo Chuxi, following him out of the room.

"With Daddy here, Mommy will be fine. Be a good girl and sleep now, alright?"
He gently reassured her, leaning down to plant a kiss on her rosy little face.
Having comforted the two little ones, Mo Chuxi returned to the bedroom. But as soon as his eyes landed on the now-empty bed, his heart froze for an instant.
