Yan Xinxin rushed straight to Yan Chenxi's hospital room, panting by the time she reached the door, only to hear laughter coming from inside.
"Miss, am I really the cutest boy you've ever met? I haven't read a lot of books, so don't lie to me, okay?"

Yan Xinxin strode into the hospital room and saw an adorable, cheeky little face grinning playfully at her.

"Yan Chenxi, are you okay? You scared your mother to death!"
"Don't worry, Xinxin, I'm fine."
Yan Chenxi reached out his little hand to pat hers in a comforting gesture, looking all grown-up despite his age.
"Xi, quick, tell Mommy where you got hit. Does it hurt?"
"Miss, you don't need to worry too much. Little Yan Chenxi just sustained a minor sprain to his foot—nothing serious. He'll stay overnight for observation and can be discharged tomorrow."
A nearby nurse calmly reassured Yan Xinxin.
