After Hunter Warren hung up the phone, Forrest finally realized, "Damn, I hadn’t finished yet."
Faye Townsend stepped forward, took the phone, and put it aside, "You really did look the part when you were cursing with those glaring eyes."
"Of course, alright, let’s go in." Kay Forrest pushed Faye into the ward to accompany Miya.
He sat on the side feeling a bit puzzled. Did his dad really get involved in the matter between Faye and Hunter?
It looks like he has to call his old man someday to ask what’s going on.
Darnley accompanied her the whole way. When the nanny came to visit Miya and saw Darnley back, she was overjoyed. After watching Miya and Darnley finish their meal, she took Darnley home to rest.

"Then Mom, when I get better, can you take me there to see?
Darnley said he’s slowly becoming friends with the kids at the kindergarten there.
I also want to go and make friends with the kids over there."
Faye thought about it for a moment and nodded, "Alright, once you recover fully and there’s time, Mom will definitely take you back to visit."
"Can I also go to school there?"
Faye smiled and asked, "Does Miya want to go to school there, or go to school with Darnley together?"
"I want to go to school... with Darnley together."
"How about this, for now, I’ll let Darnley attend kindergarten here with you.
Once you fully recover, Mom will take both of you back, okay?"
"Really? Mom, you’re not lying to me, right.
You won’t just take Darnley away without me, right."
Faye felt a pang in her heart, looking at Miya’s hopeful face, she nodded with some heartache.
"Miya, I’m sorry, but you must know, Mom loves you.
The reason I didn’t take you to Eldoria this time is because of your health.
I can’t risk letting you take a long flight.
I was planning to take you there once your surgery is done."
"Mom, I’m not blaming you, I just miss you guys."
Faye gently caressed her little hand and kissed her on the back of it, "Alright, Mom understands your feelings now, from now on... Mom won’t let you and Darnley be separated again.
But for these next few months after your surgery, Mom still has to be away for a while.
You won’t blame Mom, will you."
"Mom is really busy, taking care of us and working, Dad Forrest said Mom works really hard, I won’t blame you."
Having such a daughter, Faye really felt so grateful.
Even though bringing Miya and Darnley back to Eldoria worried her.
But compared to being separated across two places, it seems... deciding to let Darnley and Miya live here alone was indeed a bit hasty.
