"I wanted to drive you to work. I wonder if I have the chance to?"
Faye shrugged with a smile, "No, I want to drive myself to work."
"So heartless. Did you sleep well last night?"
Faye nodded, "Yes, pretty well. How about you?"
"Didn’t sleep well at all, because I remembered after getting back that I forgot to do something."
"What? Is it important?" Yesterday, he left the banquet early, he probably hadn’t signed for this year’s new series yet.
Hunter walked up to her, "Very important."
Faye’s heart skipped a beat in surprise, and she quickly pushed him away.
She looked around and then towards the gate, speaking softly but firmly, "Are you crazy? What if someone sees us?"
"Look at you getting all nervous. I’m just kissing my own wife, why should I be afraid of anyone seeing?"
Faye was at a loss for words, "So, this is what you forgot to do last night?"
Hunter raised an eyebrow, considering it as confirmation.
Faye sighed, "I thought you came for the series you forgot to pick up yesterday."
"When I helped you get wine, I happened to chat with a TV series producer, so I didn’t come back empty-handed last night. I signed two series."
She nodded, "That’s good, I need to head to the office, and you should prepare too."
