Faye laughed: "Thank you both for being so understanding. How about this, on Sunday, I’ll take you two to the amusement park."
"Really?" This time, even the usually calm Darnley asked in unison with Miya.
Seeing how surprised they were, Faye nodded: "Since when have I lied to you?
This weekend, I will carve out time no matter how busy I am."
"Mommy, what happened here?" Miya’s sharp eyes noticed a bruise on Faye’s neck, and she pointed at it worriedly.

Darnley stood outside the bathroom, a bit worried: "Faye, what’s wrong, are you okay?"

Faye jumped into the bathtub and enjoyed a relaxing soak before cuddling up with the two children to sleep.
Tonight she was really too tired; she didn’t have the energy to argue with Hunter Warren about his actions; sleeping was the priority.
In the morning, as she went downstairs, Uncle Rivers was waiting for her. Seeing her come down, he cheerfully said: "Miss, Second Young Master invites you to go for a run together."
"Waiting for you at the main door."
Faye rolled her eyes; that scoundrel came at the right time.
She took strides out the door; Hunter Warren was in sportswear, exercising at her doorstep.
Seeing Faye come out, he looked her over: "Why didn’t you change into sportswear?"
She leaned in, softly gritting her teeth and muttering, "Hey, how can you be so bad?"
"Look." Faye gently pulled down her carefully wrapped collar to show him.
Hunter Warren smiled with curled lips: "What’s wrong?"
"Are you blind? Look at these marks."
"Isn’t this normal?" Hunter affectionately ruffled her hair: "When lost in passion, these things just happen."
"Hey." Faye glared at him.
"Okay, okay, it’s my fault. What should we do about it? How about I let you kiss me back?
You can leave these marks all over me; I won’t mind."
Faye sighed in exasperation: "Hey."
Hunter pulled her closer into his arms: "Alright, I know you’re mad. I won’t mention it again, okay? I’ll be careful next time."
