Lucas Warren remained silent on the other end of the call.
Faye licked her lips: "Lucas Warren, I will help you with this matter, but the reason I called you is to let you know.

After Faye finished speaking, she hung up the phone directly.
Choosing to call Lucas Warren now may not be the perfect timing, but it certainly isn’t too bad either.
She picked up the intercom and called Declan Rivers back in.
When he approached the table, Faye asked, "Declan, can you help me with a personal matter?"
Declan Rivers nodded: "Of course, Faye, just tell me what you need me to do."
Faye smiled and gestured for him to come closer, whispering in his ear. Declan nodded: "I got it, Faye, I’ll prepare right away."
With nothing much happening in the afternoon, she left work early to pick up the two children.
She usually seldom comes to the kindergarten to pick up her children because she’s too busy.
Most of the children attending this kindergarten, like Darnley and Miya, usually have someone designated to pick them up.
Because their parents are also very busy.
The only thing that makes her thankful is, while other children only have the company of caregivers and often feel lonely, yearning for parental love.
Her twins, Darnley and Miya, grew up together. Though they also need their parents’ love, they have a strong familial bond beyond that.
At least they are not lonely while in kindergarten.

After picking up Darnley and Miya, Faye held each of them by the hand, walking towards her car.

Darnley lowered the car window, puzzled: "Mom, what are you doing? Aren’t you getting in?"
"Oh, yes," Faye withdrew her suspicious glance and got in the car, driving Darnley and Miya away.
During the ride, the three of them chatted about the fun things that happened at kindergarten today, and Faye put her suspicions aside.
After returning home, Darnley and Miya went upstairs with Uncle Rivers to change clothes, while Faye received a call from Declan Rivers.
"Faye, something’s wrong; a piece of news just came out. Did you see it?"
"What news?" Faye casually tossed her bag onto the sofa.
"A media outlet exposed an old affair between Sebastian Sheldon and Mr. Hammond, claiming you’re the third party."
