"What tomboy? You’re practically an empress."
Faye Townsend turned her head and laughed speechlessly, "Alright, stop flattering me. Let’s go sign the contract. Let me see the documents."
Once the personal matters were settled, it was time to take care of business properly.
Around noon, she called Hunter Warren to tell him about her upcoming interview.
Hunter was very supportive.
The originally scheduled 3 PM interview was postponed to 3:30 due to Faye’s work commitments. The interview went smoothly as the attending journalist was clever and knew how to read the room.
Moreover, before she entered, Declan Rivers had already outlined a few questions that were off-limits.
So, Faye felt the interview content was quite acceptable.
Faye briefly recounted how she and Hunter met, how their relationship developed, and how they fell in love.
At 4 PM, Hunter unexpectedly arrived.
The interview was in its final stages when there was a knock at the door. Declan Rivers opened it gently and said, "Director Townsend, Master Hunter is here."
"What?" Faye was also a bit surprised; she hadn’t expected Hunter to come over.
The journalist was even more excited, considering how rare it was for Hunter to accept media interviews.
She wondered if she might have the honor to interview him too; it would be an exclusive.
"Let Master Hunter come in and wait for me."
"Alright." After Declan Rivers left, Hunter pushed open the door and came in.
He smiled and nodded at the staff present, then crossed his legs and sat off to the side to watch the interview.
Faye gave him a glance, her eyes full of affection.
As the interview was about to end, the journalist finally gathered the courage to ask Faye, "Director Townsend, can we... ask Master Hunter a few questions?"
Faye hesitated, but before she could respond, Hunter had already stood up, sat next to her, and said, "Sure."
"Master Hunter, it’s said that you are famously protective of your wife within the circle. What are your thoughts on this?"
"Being protective of your wife depends on how others interpret it.
I think it’s only natural to treat my loved one well.
If that makes me excessively protective, then maybe I am.
Why would I let my woman suffer?"
Hearing Hunter’s words, the journalist was filled with envy. "Wow, Director Townsend, you’re so lucky."
"I’m very good to him too. That’s why he’s happy."

She pursued me back then, and now I’m pursuing her."
The journalist laughed, "Director Townsend mentioned that she started pursuing you when she was 15 and never gave up all those years."
Hunter ruffled her hair and looked at her indulgently, "I’m really glad she didn’t give up back then. Otherwise, where would I find such a wonderful wife now?"
"By the way, Master Hunter, regarding the recent news... about you and Ms. Shen, what do you think?"
"News? That should be a rumor.
Ms. Shen was my sister-in-law before, and indeed, we’ve known each other for quite some time.
We did hang out often back then, but Faye was there every time we went out together.

"Alright, thank you, Master Hunter and Director Townsend, for taking the time out of your busy schedules to meet with us.
Once I return, I will write up this report carefully."
Faye nodded and called for Declan Rivers to come in and see the journalist out.
In this brief pause, Hunter moved to the side to take a call from Uncle Rivers.
As soon as he answered, the noise on the other end was somewhat chaotic, mixed with the sound of a child crying.
Upon further listening, it seemed to be Miya’s cries.
Hunter’s voice became more serious, "Uncle Rivers, what’s going on?"
"Master Hunter, something’s wrong. You need to come to the kindergarten entrance immediately."
