Before dinner, he finally arrived at Lottie’s villa entrance.

Hunter sat on the sofa, looking back at the kitchen.

"Yes, once, I poured freshly boiled water into the thermos.
You kicked it over with one foot. Fortunately, you ran away after kicking it, or you might have been scalded."
Lottie said, looking at his face: "Faye called me and said she went to Korea.
Is she okay? Is everything alright?
Is it really okay for you not to be by her side at this time?"
"We’re all fine. In the days to come, there might be some tears, but we’ll handle everything well."
Lottie nodded: "Don’t let Faye suffer because of you. She’s a good girl; you must treat her well and love her."
Hunter slowly placed the chopsticks next to the bowl: "Last time I came... it was a bit rushed.
I misunderstood you before understanding the situation clearly. I’m... here to apologize."
Lottie faintly smiled: "You don’t need to apologize to me. In this world, no mother would blame her child."
"All these years, for my sake, you’ve had to live like a walking corpse.
You don’t even dare to venture out into the world..." Hunter said, sighing heavily.
"Once I’ve handled Lucas’s affairs, I will give you your freedom."
"I’ve grown accustomed to it; I peaceful life.

Hunter looked at her; how could he believe her words?
