As soon as Kay Forrest said it, Jane Quinlan immediately covered her lips with her hand: "You’re... you’re joking with me, right?"
"Oliver, tell this woman you’re the CEO of BlueHorizon Group."
Kay Forrest looked back at Oliver Turner.
Oliver Turner glanced at him puzzled.
He looked at Jane Quinlan and laughed: "She doesn’t believe you’re the CEO of BlueHorizon Group."
Lily Snow came forward with a giggle: "I’ll vouch for him, he is, without a doubt."
Jane Quinlan was extremely embarrassed now, she really wanted to smack this bastard Kay Forrest.
How could he be so quick to speak?
There were plenty of cooks at home, so the food was quickly served.
Kay Forrest dragged her to eat, and Oliver Turner casually sat beside him, asking: "Have you visited your dad recently?"
"Same old story, how much did my dad pay you and Faye Townsend to keep nagging me about this when you see me?"
"Mr. Forrest gets lonely by himself, you should spend more time with him when you can."

Because of Oliver Turner’s presence, Jane Quinlan felt a bit awkward eating.
Kay Forrest, however, was not courteous, piling chicken legs and ribs into her bowl until she was too embarrassed to eat.
Seeing her expression, Kay Forrest kicked Oliver Turner’s chair: "Go accompany your wife, watching us makes it awkward for those of us who came empty-handed to eat."
Oliver Turner frowned: "She’s not my wife."
"But she will be eventually."
"How could you also... never mind, I’m not talking to you, I’m going to the study.
Let me know if there’s anything after dinner."
He stood up and walked to the study angrily, leaving Jane Quinlan a bit shocked, wondering what kind of a character Kay Forrest really was.
"Alright, he’s gone, you can eat now."
Jane Quinlan lowered her voice: "Hey, I’m on a diet lately, it’s embarrassing for you to give me so much food in front of Director Turner."
"He has a woman, so you don’t need to mind your image in front of him."
Jane Quinlan snorted: "That’s not what I meant."
"Then there’s no need to pretend, I wouldn’t believe someone who ate four chicken legs and a serving of fried rice last night is dieting."
Jane Quinlan pouted; this man just couldn’t go a minute without annoying her.
She felt like her inner stormy power could explode at any moment.
However, she’s a sensible person, and would never oppose good food no matter the situation.
So, not only did she eat the food Kay Forrest gave her, she ate even more and had a bowl of white rice.
There’s an entire afternoon where she would need energy.
After eating, he said to Jane Quinlan: "Watch some TV in the living room for a while; I need to talk to Oliver Turner."
"Okay," she nodded and walked to the sofa in the living room and sat down.
Shortly after, Lily Snow ran downstairs carrying three bags.
She had been wearing a pink tracksuit and had now changed into an elegant black suit dress.
When she arrived in the living room, she looked around, and seeing Oliver Turner wasn’t there, she walked up to Jane Quinlan and asked: "Dearie, where’s Oliver Turner?"
Feeling uncomfortable with the affectionate address, Jane Quinlan pointed to the study: "Director Turner and Kay Forrest went into the study to talk."
"I see, hmm... can you help me decide which of these three bags suits this outfit better?"
She placed three bags on the coffee table, two white and one red.
The three bags all looked beautiful, but one of them had a logo she recognized at first glance.
It’s LV, a women’s bag brand; it’s the only brand she knew.
She pointed to the white LV one, "This one, I think."
"Is that so?" She took a breath: "Alright, I’ll go with this one then."
She turned around and sat next to Jane Quinlan: "Hey, honestly speaking, what’s your relationship with Forrest?"
"Oh, come on, you’re lying. Your relationship is more ambiguous, isn’t it?
I can’t believe a boss would bring a subordinate to a friend’s house just for a meal."
Lily Snow’s expression was cute as she tucked the breeze at her ear back.
"I heard Faye say before that Kay Forrest is quite the womanizer, so you better keep an eye on him; men love to stray.
But not necessarily; some men will change their ways when they meet their true love.
I just noticed the way he looks at you; it seems like he cherishes you.
He even helped serve you food.
If Oliver Turner served me food, I would be over the moon."
Jane Quinlan felt a little shy: "But he and I... really aren’t in that kind of relationship."
Lily Snow gently patted her shoulder: "Alright, alright, I get it, it’s natural to be shy during the ambiguous phase.
