Ivy Miller woke up to find the person beside her was gone.
She got up and patted her face. She hadn’t planned to fall asleep, but she guessed she was too angry.
She got out of bed, opened the door, and walked to the small living room. Seeing the lunch and note on the coffee table, she stepped forward and picked up the note.
"I’ve changed the food; heat it up if it’s cold.
Let’s stop this fussing around.
Quarreling only hurts harmony; couples should make up by bedtime.
I’ll be back by four and take you out. Eat first."
Seeing the note, Ivy Miller raised an eyebrow, feeling it wasn’t so bad.
She sat down to eat with a smile. Actually, when she first saw the photo of an unfamiliar woman, she wasn’t angry, just a bit annoyed.
It was his attitude when he came back asking for the photo that infuriated her.

He frowned and breathed out, holding back his temper, "Finished eating?"
"Mm," she pretended to be disinterested, though she’d already lost her temper long ago.
He said nothing, stepping forward to clear the dishes.
Seeing his diligent demeanor, Ivy Miller retracted her neck slightly and sat up straight.
"Ahem, didn’t you say you’d be back at four? I was going to clean up; it’s just that you came back early."
"In the future, after eating, don’t just lounge here. Go out for a walk to digest. Lying down hurts your stomach."
Ivy Miller laughed lightly.
He frowned and glared at her, "What are you laughing at?"
"Isn’t it true that all you military guys talk about health like that?"
"I feel like you all come from the same mold.
A lot of things you say, my dad says too."
