Reed left the house with satisfaction in his heart. He entered his car and told the chauffeur to go to the office. He was silent the whole time, but after an hour, Reed suddenly burst into a terrible cackle, "AHA—AHAHAHAHAHA—AHA, SO FUNNY!"

"Ah, no, not really. I’m just bored, and the fact that I’m actually related to Superbman is thrilling!" Reed replied with a snicker. Then he leaned back on the leather seat and grinned, "Now that I have a new toy, I’ve been thinking about going further with my plan. I think ruining Clarke is a bit boring. So I’ll step up the game and absolutely crush that naive, idiotic wife of his."
