After Melina’s speech, Zion went to his newly built house and sank into his bed.

He lay upright on his bed, staring at the ceiling as he thought about his next move. He could move directly to the Dwarven kingdom, as that was his next place to visit, or he could wait for a while and see how things play out.
"I think I’ll wait six months first and break through to the Supreme Stage. This way, the Holy City of Light will be fully up and running, Alfheim will have gotten time to adjust to the new changes, and I can have a ton of reckless sex." Zion nodded, liking that thought process. He deserved a little break, right? All great men have to rest at some point, so why not rest now?

"Oh, tell them that our next course of action is to take over the Astir Kingdom. And once that’s done, make preparations to conquer the rest of Midgard. I know the other rulers won’t take kindly to what we will be doing and will try to get rid of us."
[Understood. I’ll also tell our branch in Nidavellir to prepare for our arrival after we get done with the Astir Kingdom.]
"Good. I want a timeline window of one year, no more than two."
"Zion, are you in there?" Valindra asked from behind the door.
"Yeah, come in." He replied back, smiling as he knew what he planned on doing at this moment.
"I wanted to thank you for all the things you’ve done for us, for me. Without you, my people would have suffered more than ever before." She truly felt grateful to him. It wasn’t her love for him that made her feel that way, but genuine appreciation. Still, she blushed as her eyes locked with his.
Zion smiled, got out of bed, and walked toward the blushing elf. He knew what she was feeling right now, and he wasn’t going to let her go without getting a good taste of her body.
She looked up into his eyes, her face flushed as if she knew what was going to happen next. Valindra’s mind was racing with anticipation. She wanted Zion to take her, but she was also nervous. Could she do it? Did she want to do it? Of course, she did; she was just a nervous wreck right now.
"You’re fidgeting." Zion smiled, grabbing both of her shoulders to stop her from moving.
"N-No I’m not. You’re fidgeting!" She wanted to scream. The voice inside of her head was already doing so, telling her how stupid she was.

Once her hand reached the doorknob, she felt Zion’s arms wrap around her waist once more, and his head rested on her shoulder as he kissed her neck.
"You’re so adorable, you know that?" He picked up Valindra and set her on his bed. Staring at her, he could see a smile form on her face with tears trailing down her cheeks.
He took off his shirt, revealing his chiseled chest, and leaned in to kiss his lovely elf woman.
