I looked up at the security camera positioned at the corner and the emergency button nearby.
Getting someone to rescue us would be easy, but I felt like it wasn’t the time for that just yet.
An opportunity to be alone with Wang Nian was too rare—I wouldn’t let it slip away so easily.
So, I held her tightly in my arms, trying to comfort her.
Wang Nian began to calm down gradually. Although she loathed me, she had no choice but to let me hold her right now.
