She grew more agitated as she spoke, especially when she mentioned Wang Nian, her emotions teetering on the edge of losing control.

"I see no reason to calm down! I’m not crazy."
As she spoke, she moved to the side and picked up a cigarette from the table.
I snatched it from her hand in one swift motion and broke it in half.
"Xu Tian, who the hell do you think you are? Why do you think you can stop me from smoking?"
Her eyes flared red as she stared daggers at me.
I shouted sharply, grabbing her and holding her tightly.

Even so, I didn’t let go.
