She had heard about the rules of the Royal Library before; in fact, despite being destroyed in wars time and again, the Royal Library did not perish but instead had an ever-growing collection, thanks to such rules.
Nobles valued their transcendent knowledge greatly and held on to it tightly; only the Royal Library had the confidence to offer such exchanges, and the nobles were happy to have a place for knowledge exchange.

"Director, thank you for your reminder," Charlotte said with a smile.
The director smiled back, "Then... Count, I shall take my leave. If you need help finding any type of material, just ask the equipped alchemy puppets in the library, and may you find the knowledge you seek."
Charlotte nodded slightly, "Thank you."
The director bowed respectfully before retreating.
Charlotte looked around and quickly noticed a humanoid Alchemy Puppet nearby.
"Count, I am Jupiter, the administrator of the Royal Library’s forbidden section, at your service," the Alchemy Puppet said, its bow rigid as it spoke in a mechanical voice.
Gazing at the Alchemy Puppet, Charlotte felt a surge of surprise; this must be the product of research by great mages or even legendary mages, a kind of miraculous alchemical lifeform.
"Thank you. I’d like to see the history section," Charlotte said.
"The history section is on shelf 2 of the third spiral. If you specify what you’re looking for, Jupiter can continue to assist you," said the puppet.
Charlotte shook her head, "No need, I’ll just have a look around."
With that, she headed toward the bookshelf indicated by the Alchemy Puppet.
The Royal Library truly lived up to its reputation as the New Moon Kingdom’s most extensive and resource-rich library.
Upon reaching her destination, Charlotte indeed found many precious historical materials.
This included the history of the New Moon Kingdom, even the period when the Blood Demon Church overturned the kingdom, which was extensively detailed in many books.
The Blood Demon Church’s subversion of the New Moon Kingdom began seven hundred and fifty years prior, fifty years after the foundation of the kingdom, and they covertly ruled the New Moon Kingdom for a full two hundred years.
According to the books, this began when the Valva Family ancestor, who established the New Moon Kingdom, was deceived in his later years by a Bloodline infiltrator within the royal court, which led to their control over the court’s proceedings.
This period is described in the chronicles as a dark era for the kingdom, which lasted until two hundred years later, with the help of the Holy Royal Court, the royal family overthrew the Bloodline’s Blood Court.
Afterward, the Blood Demon Church made repeated attempts to subvert common knowledge, but they were ultimately thwarted each time, until today.
Having browsed through some related chronicles, Charlotte had gained a deeper understanding of the New Moon nobility’s hostility and vigilance towards the Bloodline.
Of course, as history is written by the victors, she knew these materials were only for reference and could not be completely trusted.
