"You take four, I’ll take three," Cherry began her part of the job by slitting the throats of four of the remaining eight raiders. The leader was not allowed to die yet, so the Mutants were free to do as they pleased with the rest of the raiders. The Blood Knight, using her finger, slit gaping wounds on the raiders’ necks but didn’t allow them to bleed out just yet.
Following her brother’s footsteps, she watched as the creatures suffered in agony before finally killing them one at a time.
The first raider had its blood drained from the softer parts of its body, keeping it in constant pain throughout the process.
The second had its blood thickened to the point where its heart could no longer pump. Eventually, it died of severe cardiac arrest with the rest of its body bloating.
The third had its bones broken, its muscles ripped apart, and its flesh eviscerated from its body before being left to die on its own.
The fourth one died in an interesting way. With her fingers plunged inside its body, the Blood Knight manually shifted all of its blood to change its original course, making it flow backward instead of forward.
She also increased the speed at which the blood moved, bringing it much pain and discomfort in the process. Eventually, the speed of the blood flow was too great for the body to keep up, ultimately leading to subtle eruptions in the brain, heart, lungs, digestive organs, and finally through the head.
The raiders all faced gruesome deaths, but none were as gruesome as the ones Ace inflicted.
"Your turn," Cherry grinned while consuming some of the sweet-smelling blood. Unlike Anya and Jim, she and Ace knew the dangers of letting blood control them, as it could eventually turn them into blood-lusted brutes. "I want to see what the Blood Bishop is capable of."
"Pay attention." Ace grinned and with one hand, he lifted the body of the raider off the ground and into the air. Immediately, he increased the blood iron levels in its body to the point where its body was energized. However, that short burst of energy was quickly replaced with an aching poison taking over.
Its body, once light and energized, became plagued and paralyzed with a sickening amount of iron forming within. Like blood, the iron flowed through the raider’s body until it reached its heart and jugular vein. Most went to the brain and the rest remained in the heart, ultimately poisoning the creature until it began choking on its own blood.
Ace folded his wrists and in an instant, an explosion of flesh, blood, and guts erupted in the room, leaving a floating orb of blood iron behind.

’These things are too weak,’ Ace analyzed, ’They’ll be too weak and a waste of Mana.’
"First one down. Next." Cherry patiently waited and watched as her brother twisted his fingers above his second victim. While all of this happened, the raiders that still lived chose not to scream, yell, or say anything negative to their captors. They had already accepted their fate and came to peace with it.

Like a juice box, the raider’s body was squeezed, pressed, and drained of every ounce of blood, almost as if something hovered above it with its gaping jaws open wide, sucking every drop greedily. The softer organs in its body came through its head holes, spreading all over the floor and creating a bloody mess. Now it was time for the last one, the remaining raider left to kill before the Tribal Leaders and Grim decided what to do with their stubborn leader. The raider, knowing that its time had come, looked at Ace and then hung its head in shame. As for Ace, he hovered his hands over its head, folded it into a fist, and pulled his arm away, almost as if he were pulling on a rope.

Strings of red, glowing energy, the same that would usually flow around Ace’s body, swept through the raider’s body and covered it in a thick layer of said energy. Slowly, the strings erupted from its body and flowed into Ace’s, generating a strong rush of wind in the process. The raider’s body, once young and vibrant, aged quickly with wrinkles forming at an alarming rate. All of its life force and energy was taken from it, stripped from the very fabric of its being.

"Wow!!" Cherry marveled at her brother’s skillset, almost becoming envious at some point. Never had she expected to see such a skill that drained the life of a victim without causing it any bodily harm or injury. "Look at its body. So old and wrinkly. You drained the life out of it, literally."
"All thanks to Glissk," Ace smirked, and his sister rolled her eyes. Before she could get the chance to complain, he interrupted her by saying, "Come train with us. There’s so much you and I can do together. Imagine if you had the same skills as I do. We’d be unstoppable."
"You forget that you’re a class above me," Cherry replied. "Aren’t your skills specifically tailored for a Blood Bishop?"
The Blood Knight, not realizing how right she was, made a solid point in her argument, pointing out the flaw in his argument.
In actuality, Ace’s Mana manipulation abilities were unlocked thanks to his deal made with Vorathrax, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t be able to learn them. Like him, Cherry too had the potential to learn Mana manipulation and extraction. Even if she couldn’t, there would still be a lot she’d be able to do.
"Remember when I turned you into a Blood Knight?" Ace asked, but judging by his sister’s expression, she didn’t seem interested. Her lack of enthusiasm made him think twice before moving her up to the Blood Bishop Rank. "I can do it again right now. When you’re ready, come to me and it’ll be done."
"If I’ll be ready. And that’s a big IF."
After the Blood Mutants massacred the rest of the raiders, minus their leader, they discovered that a fairly large fleet of Granian ships was prepped and ready to set course to the planet from which the raiders came. Just as Lord Grim had said, their entire race was going to be the first to go, all thanks to the stubborn nature of the raid leader. As soon as the command was given, Granian soldiers from the Green Claw and Red Skins tribes, along with all four Blood Mutants, were on board the ships with their courses set for the raider planet.
