As Dagger’s dense attacks hit the Flame Lord’s head, corrosive sounds echoed from his own body. A piercing, mournful shriek sliced through the sky. To protect Guoguo on his back, Dagger wrapped his own neck around the splash of fiery, burning magma that he couldn’t avoid. Even his "Fire Crystal Armor" couldn’t block the damaging lava. From his eyes downwards, Dagger was completely seared by the hot lava, causing waves of boiling heat. The myriad of blisters on his neck were more pronounced, turning the hairless Scabby Bird hideous and savage. The Flame Lord and Dagger, both with bloodied heads, were not fond of idle chit-chat. Their battle was far from over; quickly moving to engage in a magic quick attack.
With a strong flap of his wings, Dagger first threw Guoguo and the little parrot off his back. His force was perfectly under control – although Guoguo and the little parrot were tossed off swiftly, the force was gentle. The parrot made a squawking sound in the air and managed to scoop up Guoguo, then hastily fluttered away with a beat of its wings.

Dagger then jabbed his sharp beak, that once penetrated the Golden Giant Dragon, right into the eye socket of the Flame Lord. Reacting instinctively, the Flame Lord blocked with his hand, and a ripping sound filled the air as Dagger’s beak pierced the Flame Lord’s right palm, leaving a large part of the beak exposed.
Ignoring the incessant pounding to his head, the Flame Lord let out a loud laugh, "Oh powerful fire bird, when facing the end of fire magic, you’re still too naive!"
The Flame Lord tightly clenched Dagger’s beak in his pierced right hand, disregarding the piercing pain. He swung the other hand into a powerful punch towards Dagger’s forehead. The Flame Lord’s blisters continued to burst, emitting high-temperature lava. With his twelve-meter-high body and Dagger’s mere five-meter stature, the Flame Lord captured his opponent. In this close-quarters brawl, it was obvious who had the upper hand.
Being grabbed by the beak by the Flame Lord only provoked the violent nature of the bursts, all the more. Dagger was swinging his wings rapidly, pounding the Flame Lord’s head with madness, completely ignoring the Flame Lord’s heavy fist and rebound.
