Before he could react further, Yi Tiao, holding the dagger-like sword, approached swiftly. Flame Emperor Basturk roared in anger and swung his axe towards Yi Tiao’s forehead.
"Many techniques that I learned in my crane form were unusable before, but let’s try them today." Yi Tiao sidestepped with ease, parrying the axe with a swift movement. He then thrust the Green-Edged Sword towards Flame Emperor’s eye. The Flame Emperor, unable to react swiftly enough, seemed to run his eyeball onto the sword tip.
With a tearing sound resounding, the Flame Emperor once again shielded his eye with his mangled palm, grabbing the sword with a tight grip.
"Fool! The beak isn’t in the mouth this time!" Yi Tiao let go of the Green-Edged Sword, and the Flame Emperor pulled it into his chest. Yi Tiao leaped into the air, using one foot to kick the sword hilt, pushing the sharp sword through the Flame Emperor’s palm and into his chest. His other foot, with an eagle hook boot, tore a large chunk of flesh from the Flame Emperor’s body.
"I can only kick twice." Yi Tiao lamented.
Having been stabbed in the right rib, the Flame Emperor fell heavily to the ground, bouncing again before lying on his back on the now frozen lava. Clutching his chest, he attempted to pull out the sword embedded within him. However, each attempt was met with intense pain that left him howling. It was clear that his lungs had been punctured. The withdrawal of the sword led to a sense of suffocation. His wheezing breath, reminiscent of an old bellows, coupled with blood bubbles trickling from the corner of his mouth, signaled that shattered bone fragments had entered his lungs.
