It was very happy when Mo Yichen came home to see his mom and his son. But he was really upset when his mom talked about Chen Qian. He finally came home because of Li Ling’s persuasion.
Li Yunhong kept asking if Mo Yichen did fool around these days and even didn’t want to go back home, which made Mo Yichen annoyed. He was so busy but was misunderstood. Li Yunhong even kept talking about Chen Qian. It made Mo Yichen crazy. “I even can’t believe that you are my biological mother!”
Li Yunhong wanted Mo Yichen to eat at home. So, she stopped arguing with him.
“Do you get used to eat fast food outside?” Li Yunhong asked Mo Yichen and paid attention to every detail about him.
“I don’t have much time and usually get a bite to eat.” Mo Yichen talked about his recent situation. Except for his marriage, he could obey his mom.
“Let Wu Gang bring lunch to you from home next time. The food outside is not healthy.” Li Yunhong showed a look of disgust.
“It’s fine. I can handle it.” Mo Yichen was sent to the village to do voluntary labor by his grandfather when he was three years old. Actually, he was sent there to know how to make tea. After a summer vacation, Mo Yichen returned home. He was tanned and was bitten by mosquito badly. Li Yunhong was so distressed.
But she didn’t dare to talk to Mo Yichen’s grandfather. Then she came to his father. She was angry that his grandfather didn’t care about his grandson. However, Mo Yichen’s words stifled her complaint.
“Grandpa said that it is necessary to be energetic if I want to be his successor.” Li Yunhong was very happy when she heard that. She even advised that his grandpa should treat Mo Yichen a lot and train him to be a useful person in the future.
“What do you want to eat? I will let Auntie Xue to make it for you.” Li Yunhong embraced Mo Yichen’s shoulder and laughed from ear to ear.
“I want to eat sweet and sour spare ribs cooked by you.” Mo Yichen missed his mother who would cook for him.
“Well. Have a rest. The dinner will be ready soon.” Then Li Yunhong came to kitchen and worked with Auntie Xue.
“Let me do it. My son wants to eat the dish I cooked.” Li Yunhong said, which stunned Auntie Xue. Li Yunhong who took care of herself so much should be willing to cook dinner for her son.
Every woman would be virtuous when she was a good mom.
Mo Yichen went upstairs to see his baby son. He missed Xiangyan very much.
Xiangyan just woke up.
“Xiangyan, guess who is here?” Li Ling heard the voice of Mo Yichen and let Xiangyan guess it.
Xiangyan thrust his head out and looked outside.
“Daddy is back.” Mo Yichen appeared suddenly, which even startled Xiangyan. But Xiangyan was so excited when he saw his father. For Xiangyan, the happiest thing was to be with his father.
Mo Yichen walked to Xiangyan and lifted him to play. Li Ling couldn’t help laughing when she saw them.
“President Mo, it is the first time that I have seen you are so happy. You were unhappy when you came home in the past.” Li Ling said.
Mo Yichen smiled awkwardly.
“I don’t like the atmosphere here and feel unfamiliar.” He played with Xiangyan while talking to Li Ling.
“I can’t remember when was the last time I talked to my mom so friendly.” Mo Yichen looked at Li Yunhong who was in the kitchen and talked to Auntie Xue.
“I am going to take Xiangyan to my mom.” Then Mo Yichen held Xiangyan and went downstairs.
“President Mo, you have a happy family.” Li Ling looked at Mo Yichen who went downstairs.
“I hope you can be happy forever.” She murmured.
Mo Yichen came to kitchen. Li Yunhong was washing the ribs.
“Xiangyan, what is Grandma doing?” Mo Yichen asked.
Xiangyan was lying on Mo Yichen’s shoulder and stared at his grandma. He even drooled.
“Grandma is making the sweet and sour pork ribs. It is my favorite food when I was a child. When you grow up, Grandma will make it to you, too.” Mo Yichen said and fed a little bit ketchup to Xiangyan. Xiangyan kept shaking his head since it was too sour, which made everyone there laugh.
“Xiangyan was adorable. It is hereditary from Grandma.” Li Yunhong loved this grandson so much although she didn’t know about his mother. She thought it was the life which Mo Yichen liked.
Mo Yichen certainly hoped that his family could live a long and healthy life. However, Chen Qian always bothered him and caused many unhappy things. Mo Yichen thought that she just acted on impulse at the beginning, but actually, she was a Momus. If he knew about Chen Qian’s dirty tricks about Gu Yan, what would he do?
“Yichen, the dinner is ready. Give Xiangyan to me. You must be weary.” Li Yunhong finished her cooking and talked to Mo Yichen.
“President Mo, you can have dinner first and give Xiangyan to me.” Li Ling had to take the child away when they had dinner at home. However, Xiangyan would cry at that time since he didn’t want to leave.
Xiangyan begun to cry at the moment Mo Yichen gave him to Li Ling. Mo Yichen couldn’t bear to hear it since he suffered the same thing at his childhood.
“It’s OK. I have to divert his attention from the dining table. It is unavoidable.” Li Ling said and was about to go upstairs with Xiangyan.
“He cried so badly. Why not eat with us? Xiangyan must want to eat. Come on. I can handle it.” Then Mo Yichen held Xiangyan into his arms.
Li Ling followed Mo Yichen’s command.
“Mom, what about us eating together? Otherwise, nobody could take care of Xiangyan. Also, it’s time to wean Xiangyan and let him eat complementary food.” Mo Yichen patted Xiangyan’s back gently and comforted him.
“Auntie Xue, Butler Wang. Come to eat with us. You should enjoy your cooking.” Mo Yichen told to Auntie Xue who was at the kitchen.
