Chapter 219 Corporate crisis
“President Wen, most of well-known companies terminated their contracts with us. They refuse to cooperate with us.”
The assistant stood in front of Wen Yunfeng with fear. He lowered his head and his legs kept trembling. Suddenly, Wen Yunfeng threw a pile of files on the assistant’s face, and it turned red right away.
“Why don’t you figure out solution? Go fix it or don’t come back again.” Wen Yunfeng said angrily.
Wen Yunfeng leaned against the chair, crossed his legs and put them on the table, smoking in an enjoyable way.
Documents were scattered all over the office. It’s such a mess.
“President Wen, I did some investigation. It must be someone playing dirty tricks. All companies are determined to leave us. We have no other ways.” The assistant was upset.
“Stupid!” Wen Yunfeng crushed the cigarette in the ashtray. He looked fierce and his veins stood out. He glared at the assistant who was kneeling on the floor and picking up the documents.
He shouted loudly, “Who dare to do that?”
The assistant was scared when looked at Wen Yunfeng. He stiffened for a moment and said obsequiously, “It was Mo Yichen who canceled the contract with us first. Then other companies followed him.”
“Mo Yichen?” Wen Yunfeng paused. He knew that he couldn’t fight against him, let alone taking revenge.
“Are you sure?” Wen Yunfeng would not believe but got the affirmative answer from the assistant.
“Yes, it’s him.”
Wen Yunfeng stood up and walked to the window. He ignited another cigarette and looked downstairs. He calmed a lot and wore a mild expression.
“How can he have time to cope with me since he should have solved his relationship with Gu Yan? It seems that he has plan B.” Wen Yunfeng thought.
“Interesting.” Wen Yunfeng kept smoking which made the assistant cough.
“Well, you figure out any way to retain the small companies which haven’t terminated the contract yet. I’ll find a way to deal with them.” Wen Yunfeng said.
“Hmm…” The assistant spoke with hesitation.
“Go ahead.”
Wen Yunfeng shouted angrily. His raging voice was not as gentle as his appearance.
“Those small companies take the opportunity to raise prices since they know many companies cancelled contracts with us. We are at our wits’ end.” The assistant replied.
“Our company is in a problem of capital turnover. We can only rob Peter to pay Paul. But these small companies will not give in.” The assistant continued.
“Do not pay wages next month. Holding the small companies first…” Wen Yunfeng told him.
Wen Yunfeng’s tone could even freeze the assistant.
“Got it.” The assistant put the documents on Wen Yunfeng’s desk quickly and left his office discontentedly. His office was like a hell which made people smothery.
“Mo Yichen, of course it’s you. A few day ago, I have been wondering who had given my company a blow. Do you think I can do nothing about it?” Wen Yunfeng thought.
Wen Yunfeng was confused, “Did he see these photos?”

Wen Yunfeng went back home directly. He was too restless to find a solution.
Wen Yunfeng’s grandma was sitting sternly on the sofa when he arrived home. The nanny stood next to her and gestured to Wen Yunfeng that his grandma has already known something.
“Yunfeng, come here. I have something to tell you.” Grandma said.
“Grandma, I am tired. Shall we talk someday?” Wen Yunfeng was about to ignore her and walked straight to the stairs.
“Come here!” Grandma said coldly which made Wen Yunfeng stunned and looked at her.
“Fine, what do you want to talk about?” Wen Yunfeng said.
He went down from the stairs, sat far from his grandma, and crossed the legs, indifferently.
“What?”
They talked like strangers. They had no idea when they had become far away from each other. This house became cold and cheerless, without a trace of laughter. Wen Yunfeng didn’t like here.
“I heard that the company has a huge financial problem now.” Grandma said.
“I know that you are in a bad relationship with Mo Yichen because of Gu Yan. But you can’t ruin the family estate for a woman.” Grandma told him.
“Grandma, I know. Don’t worry, I won’t let company go broke and I’ll handle properly about the relationship between me and Mo Yichen.”
“Yunfeng, you are too young to simple. We can’t fight against him. You go and beg him. He may let us go.” Grandma tried to persuade him.
“What? I won’t do that. I won’t beg him. I don’t want to be disgraced.” Wen Yunfeng replied.
Wen Yunfeng was angry when heard that and was about to leave.
“You don’t do so because of Gu Yan! You can’t let her ruin your life.”
Grandma said injuredly. She looked lonely and weak. Her hair was white.
“I will never beg him. Grandma, please leave me alone.” Wen Yunfeng said.
Then he went to his room and closed the door. It seemed that they were in the two different worlds. Grandma sobbed when looked at the closed door. “I can’t let Wen’s company be destroyed.” She told herself. The nanny comforted her.
Wen Yunfeng was lying on the bed and thinking about what happened recently.
