Chapter 251 To seek advice from Gu Yan

One day, Gu Yan sat by the window and was drinking cola at teatime. Jiang Jingcheng saw Gu Yan who was hiding in the corner. He held a glass of hot water and went to Gu Yan with a charming smile. Then he gave it to her and looked down at her.
“Please drink this glass of water. You should drink less beverages. It’s healthier.” Jiang Jingcheng smiled with concern.
“Thank you.” Gu Yan picked up the glass. She shook it and then drank it.
“Do you mind if I sit here?” Jiang Jingcheng pointed the seat opposite to Gu Yan and looked at her. He asked gently and raised his eyebrow.
“Of course. Suit yourself.” Gu Yan stood up and showed her politeness.
Jiang Jingcheng sat opposite Gu Yan. He was nervous when he looked at Gu Yan who was playing her mobile phone. “How can I break the ice?” He thought.
“Are you chatting with your boyfriend?” Jiang Jingcheng asked straightforward like his character. He never beat around the bush and didn’t feel shy at all.
Gu Yan was embarrassed. Generally, no one would ask such a question to a girl directly. Various kinds of thought occurred in her mind.
Gu Yan was in a daze for a moment and then showed a happy smile. She said, “Yes. He’s the best man I have ever met.”
“So, you must have a boyfriend. President Gu, he must make efforts since you are so beautiful and capable, didn’t he?” Jiang Jingcheng asked.
“Uh …” Gu Yan didn’t know how to reply him. She could only give him a blurry answer. She had no idea about his intention. “What does he want to do?” She looked at him doubtfully.
“Don’t get me wrong, please. I just have some emotional problems recently. It really troubles me that I even can’t fell asleep. I don’t have any friends to talk about it.” Jiang Jingcheng tried to explain.
“Unlike me, I admire your boyfriend who is good at getting along with girl.” Jiang Jingcheng stopped talking and looked at sideways through the window. He looked very handsome when the sunshine was on his face.
His face assumed a sort of dreamy expression. He was a bit restless and sorrowful. Gu Yan wanted to try her best to help him since he looked down in the mouth.
Gu Yan was relieved, “I thought that he had feelings to me. I even thought of how to persuade him. It seems that I don’t have to do it.”
“Would you mind telling me who is the one that you are interested in? Is she who I know? Or is she in our company?” Gu Yan asked seriously and was more active than before.
“Well, you don’t know her. She is my ex-girlfriend actually. But I still love her.” He looked very sorrowful at that moment and said with chilly eyes. Gu Yan was a little surprised. She thought that Jiang Jingcheng would deal with everything easily.
“I didn’t expect that such a tough person will be overwhelmed with sorrow when facing to love.” Gu Yan thought.
“Could you tell me what happened to you?” Gu Yan asked.
“I love her but she loves another man. She doesn’t care about me. I feel lowliest. But I can’t live without her. She is all of my life. President Gu, what should I do now?” Jiang Jingcheng said.
He looked at Gu Yan with expectation.
Gu Yan frowned. “It’s really a difficult problem. In her opinion, the best way for unrequited love is to give up. Even if he makes great efforts, he may be a back-up.” Gu Yan thought about it and glared at Jiang Jingcheng.
“I can tell you my opinion. You can’t force anything about love. The one who loves you will come to you one day. If your ex-girlfriend really loves you, she will come back to you. If she doesn’t have any affections for you, I suggest that you should give up. Don’t hurt yourself.” Gu Yan tried to persuade him.
“Well, I want to wait. Maybe she will realize that I’m the one who loves her very much.” He was disappointed but forced a smile.
“Actually, I think Assistant Liu is very nice. She likes you very much. I think you should consider about her.” Gu Yan said.
Gu Yan recommended Assistant Liu to Jiang Jingcheng. In her opinion, they were a perfect match.
“Oh, really?” He pretended to be surprised.
Gu Yan nodded with a smile and ridiculed him that he even didn’t notice it. “He really didn’t have any experience about love.” She thought.
Jiang Jingcheng suddenly smiled stupidly. Gu Yan couldn’t help but smile when she saw he smile.
They ended up the challenging topic and began to talk about news, entertainment, and astronomy. They had same hobbies and got on well with each other.
The staff paid attention to them who were talking happily. They thought that these two persons were well matched.

“I don’t think so. Master Mo and President Gu are a perfect match. Master Mo is much greater than Jiang Jingcheng.”
