“Your ideas are nice.”

But at least these words were good because they were a compliment after all. However, Gu Manman was not complacent, because she was very clear that Gu Yan would say more about her ideas.

“These ideas are irrelevant to each other, so you can’t use them in the same design. In an excellent design work, it’s not that the more elements you have, the better it would be. You have to pay attention to the relationship between these elements. If you just randomly combine them, your design will end up as a lousy job.”
Gu Yan’s voice was like a gurgling stream, gently caressing Gu Manman’s heart, which gradually became softened. It had to be said that at this moment, Gu Manman still felt that a woman like Gu Yan was only very attractive to men and she herself was just too careless and not gentle enough for the most time. This was her own thinking, and she was very clear about it.
These thoughts had appeared in Gu Manman’s mind out of nowhere as Gu Yan was talking. After running these irrelevant thoughts in her head, Gu Manman calmed down and carefully reflected on Gu Yan’s words. “Is it true that my design appears too messy?”
“Now you are in a dilemma because you’ve been overthinking and been eager for conveying too many things, but you can’t use so many ideas in one single design work. You have to learn to choose the lighter tasks. It’s not like the more things the better. You can note down the inspiration you have at the moment first, and then weigh which ideas are more suitable for your design, instead of writing them all down.”
After saying these words, Gu Yan suddenly understood why she felt that Gu Manman’s creations were giving her a headache. There were just too many contents in them, where Gu Yan could literally not differentiate which were primary ones and which were not. Design works should have their own structures and should not be added with everything.
This was why there would be simple works that could convey transparent opinions and look amazing.
After figuring this out, Gu Yan breathed a sigh of relief. In fact, there was nothing wrong with Gu Manman’s design, and it was not a big bottleneck for her. She just didn’t have enough experience in designing and hadn’t discovered the rules of designs. Normally, every designer would go through this stage.
And during this stage, a designer would want to do everything he could to express his work, by using all the design ideas he thought very good on it. He would want to use all his strength to make and decorate a design work. But for most of the time, because of what the designer had done, the work would end up appearing messy. Designing was usually like literature, which needed a certain theme.
With the theme, not only the designer but also the people who watched the work could accurately grasp the concepts that the designer wanted to express and convey.
After hearing Gu Yan’s words, Gu Manman did calm down and think about what Gu Yan had said carefully, which was indeed very reasonable. When she was making the design, she really felt that every idea was very good and that it would be a waste if she did not use all of them.

Now that Gu Yan had mentioned it, Gu Manman knew that there was indeed something wrong with her way of handling her design, but… Gu Manman also had her own thoughts. A lot of inspiration only lasted for a moment, and she felt lucky to use it in her design.
She was very afraid that if she hadn’t used an idea that she came up with in the design for this time, she would forget about it later. At that time, she didn’t feel that she had used too many elements, but when she looked back at her work, it appeared indeed very chaotic.
