Freya Morgon’s face turned pale. Just minutes ago, Luna left home in good health, and now she’s in a car accident. It felt like all the blood in her body was being drained; despite Luna’s penchant for chaos, she cared for her dearly—what if something unexpected happened?

She didn’t like driving; this city was too crowded for her taste. She preferred to walk, or just took a taxi home.
"Mommy, she should be fine. Luna’s sports car is of good performance, it should be okay..." She wasn’t sure if she was comforting her mother or herself. Though she’s not in life-threatening danger, she was more than three months pregnant, and they’ve lost the child." A policeman documenting statements briefly explained the accident, and Charlotte felt as though she’d been frozen solid.
